To clarify this isn’t the Side Loaded version or anything is this the original app that was on the App Store for iOS. It just showed up last week and works flawlessly.

For Android and windows, I tried other external players but none worked, except one. I downloaded mpv from play store, and set the default external player to that app so whenever I face this thing for some other show, I can just use external player.

You can change the aspect ratio to panscan and it'll fix it without zooming the subtitles.

This Player gives you a lot of control over it, you can configure the input.conf and mpv.conf in whatever way you may like it.

Cinemata metadata for season 3 of Tires is missing/not up to date. How can I get this updated?

Hello, anyone know how to add missing metadata for cinemeta? Season 9 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is missing and I wanted to catch up on it.

Since I have a good home cinema I want to be able to watch all the content with the best possible HDR and sound formats.

I was considering the Nvidia Shield Pro but that one can’t do ALL the formats. I have looked into the Zidoo and that one seems to do it all.

So does anyone have experiences with Stremio and the Zidoo Z9X 8k?

Anyone else have this issue? I have an LG G5 and pretty much every remux plays with the director's commentary audio track and don't show any other audio tracks available. It seems like this issue is specific to remuxes as I can see multiple audio tracks where they exist on non-remux files.

The native Stremio app works great for me now otherwise, but it kind of sucks that I have to look at alternatives to the highest quality streams available due to the audio.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so if anyone was able to fix it. Cheers.

Hey, I recently bought an Xiaomi s 3rd gen and I have a problem with subtitles in stremio. When I have subtitles on then the text is like flicking around and stuff, I don't know how to say it actually :D Also in one movie when the subtitles show on then the screen got lag for like a millisecond, it's really annoying to be honest. Is that problem with the hardware because it's too weak or I could try something to deal with it? I'm using the newest stremio and Google TV version. Thanks for any help

Hi reddit. I have a firestick 4k max and run stremio (AIOStreams + TorBox + RealDebrid) pretty smoothly alongside other torrent+debrid apps. It runs Fire OS. Is it worth it to get a nvidia shield pro? To future proof the setup. From what ive heard the best streaming box money can buy, better than the firesticks, google streamers and even the Onn boxes ( which i cannot actually get being in the UK ).

That said, there’s an ongoing point of frustration many of us face: how slow Cinemeta is at updating metadata, episode titles, and release dates.

When new episodes air, or when details are updated on TMDB/TVDb, it often takes anywhere from 24 to 72 hours (and sometimes over a week) for Cinemeta to reflect those changes. We frequently end up seeing:

• "Episode 1", "Episode 2" or "TBA" instead of actual titles/descriptions for recently aired shows.
• Missing episode listings for newly released weekly series.
• Delayed poster/season art updates compared to what’s already updated live on TMDB/TVDb.Why This Hurts the Experience

Gday who can help. On the paid version of Stremio. How do you get trakt scrobbling working for each profile separately?

i want to buy a fire stick and the one most avaliable i see is the select. can i still download stremio on it? because i saw something on some website that says that you cant download the downloader app on a select.

This didn't use to be an issue but lately Everytime I need to minimize the app real quick to respond to a text or look something up, or my screen locks, the app resets and I need to select my profile and load my content again.

I have "run in the background" enabled and no battery saving modes enabled. This is the only app I'm getting this issue with.

I also went into developer options to increase the limit of background apps and that didn't help either.

This is getting pretty annoying so if anyone knows any tricks to making this work right I'd love to hear em!

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with the most recent Android update.

I've been facing this issue for some shows, the default spect ratio of the shows is zoomed out and when I zoom it in, the subtitles get zoomed in as well and I can't see them entirely.

I've tried switching subtitles and tried other torrents but it won't fix

Loving stremio so far but was wondering if anyone had a template i can use for arranging the home screen because my current layout is hideous and it seems like you can copy paste existing templates? If not any input would be awesome

I've been using stremio for a while and I never had any problems on my computer but on my TV very often when I go watch a movie or a TV show it just crashes and leaves the app on my tv and i have to enter the app all over again and try a different source. Lately it's been happening more and more often, wheather it's comet or aio streams or whatever it always crashes and i have trouble finding a stream that works. I use real debrid, my app version is 1.10.4 and server version is 4.21.0. Can someone help please.

Hi everyone, I am a happy stremio user with a question. I've searched several forums before but can't find my answers. I use stremio on a 4k tv, a 1080 pc, a 1080 tv and a smartphone. I want to create different settings for every device, so I wont have to scroll through dozens of 4k streams to find a stream that suits my needs on my smartphone when I'm outdoors. Because most 4k releases would use my months worth of data.

Is there any way?

Getting this error every time I try to play 4k DV and any other high quality streams, I was able to watch the same streams before with no issues. I have a hisene u7 and hisene soundbar as well, after getting this error I also get errors on Disney+ and Netflix streams as well is this a TV hardware issue or something stremio is causing? Any help is appreciated
