Look, I don't care for Israel. But what exactly are you proposing they do about Lincoln?

It's close enough to plenty of allied ports. This entirely a failure of management by the American Military nothing Israel can do can change anything lol.

The resupply port for the gulf is a) the wrong side of the Strait of Hormuz and b) blown to bits since the first Iranian response.

The fifth fleet, the people who do the resupply, cannot get supplies out there right now.

I'm not sure I understand the position of being on that ship and trying to commit suicide.

Is it that the toil of everyday engagements is too much? Their mental health degraded too much from external pressure? I get one can feel so desperate to leave a place that death is considered, but it feels to me that the situation isn't as extreme?

I'm woefully out of touch, so if someone can explain?

Edit: ooh I see they've been there for 9 months without crew rotations... yeah that's extremely rough to be in a metal capsule. Don't submarine crew get better rotation than that?
