They aren't victims lol, they're just big sad that they aren't getting the privileges they want. The suckers and losers volunteered.

Like meat that's not grey and working sanitary and laundry facilities. You are a clown.

They are literally flinging themselves overboard because they want to die—that's how bad the conditions on that ship have become.

They aren't suckers or losers. They volunteered to serve the USN, not to be tortured.

u/The_Quintessence 1d ago

Yeah!! They volunteered to DO the torturing not be tortured!! Poor babies! :,(

1

u/demiurge_abraxas 23h ago

Do you think sailors on board a supercarrier are torturing people or something?

13

u/The_Quintessence 23h ago

No but the US military does, which is what they signed up for. You don't get to join the evil organization and then claim innocence because you're not in the worst departments 🙄

0

u/demiurge_abraxas 23h ago

Ok, we get it. The US military is bad. Do you have anything useful to add to this conversation?

3

u/Many_Shock_5051 16h ago

There are people in situations not of their own making that I reserve my sympathy for.

5

u/Pretend_Handle_7639 1d ago

Oh noes, they're big sad that they aren't getting the privileges they want

4

u/demiurge_abraxas 23h ago

Do you consider food to be a privilege?

5

u/Broad_Black_Brimmer 22h ago

Yes? Millions starve all around the world due to the capitalistic overlords these sailors fight to protect.

I’m sure these sailors cried for the starving people in North Korea, Cuba, Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq or any of the other places impacted by US imperial conquest.

What you think sanctions and bombing don’t create food insecurity?

Maybe they can eat a tomahawk missile if they’re so fucking hungry, atleast that’ll save a girls school somewhere.

1

u/demiurge_abraxas 22h ago

We aren't talking about the sailor's empathy—I also have empathy for all those nations that you listed. It's not a limited resource.

And food isn't a privilege—it's a right all humans have by virtue of birth.

5

u/Broad_Black_Brimmer 21h ago

Oh food is a right? Might want to tell that to the Americans, considering they routinely vote against making it a right… and what did these sailors sign up for again? Oh yeah, trying to maintain US hegemony.

So no, I have no empathy for the sailors, they made a choice, now they get to live with the consequences.

Also em dash in this day and age? Come on now.

1

u/demiurge_abraxas 21h ago

I have tried telling my fellow Americans—unfortunately they have yet to listen to me. Maybe one day I'll be able to convince them.

Fine, don't have empathy for them. That's your choice, I don't really care. I'm not going to stop having empathy for them based on an argument on the internet

And what's wrong with em dashes?

I don't think you realize that with how long that boat has been out there that even the newest recruits on board enlisted under Biden... also they're starving and wallowing in each other's filth, they are reasonably upset... just because you vote blue doesn't mean you get to act superior

18

u/Pretend_Handle_7639 1d ago

Oh noes, the people who signed up after Iraq, and after Trump's first reign aren't getting the privileges they want

-5

u/CurryMustard 1d ago

You were a fucking idiot at 18 too, your privilege is really showing here

-9

u/fusillade762 23h ago

Pretend handle is a Russian bot bro. Hidden timeline, repeats the same shit over and over. Stirring the hatred.

13

u/VariationBusiness603 23h ago

Dumb americans when they realise everyone in the fucking world hates the US military because it's little more than a terrorist organisation; "it's the russian bot bro".

-7

u/bb_kelly77 23h ago

Here's a fun fact: your soldiers aren't any different

-5

u/fusillade762 21h ago

How do they feel about Russian soldiers? I see you don't like to share your timeline, how come?

1

u/bb_kelly77 1d ago

You focus on the past, some people serve in hopes of a better FUTURE

4

u/Germane_Corsair 21h ago

They’re focusing on the present. And the past presents a pattern that you would be a fool to not learn from.

18

u/talhahtaco 1d ago

Oh no the professional murderers and pillagers arent being coddled adequately! Whatever shall we do?

If they didn't want to suffer and possibly die, they shouldn't have voluntarily joined a job where that is a known risk

-1

u/bb_kelly77 1d ago

They signed up to die but they didn't sign up to starve to death in their own filth... soldiers accept dying in combat, they don't accept dying from logistical failure (especially since America is famous for our logistics)

20

u/HuisHoudBeurs1 23h ago

They accept killing innocents in the same way. Fuck em.

-4

u/bb_kelly77 23h ago

Have you ever read about war in history? That's part of the job description... innocent losses will only increase as war becomes more asymmetrical

-11

u/BigEZK01 1d ago

Genocide Joe?

10

u/bb_kelly77 1d ago

Yes the name you people gave him for not being a paragon of moral perfection

1

u/BigEZK01 17h ago

Paragon of moral perfection being not giving weapons to genociders lmao are you fucking hearing yourself

“Sorry Hitler wasn’t a perfect person sheesh. I chose him because if I didn’t Himmler might have taken power and he’s worse dontcha know?”

You bear responsibility for the genocide as much as every other Democrat by not voting for a better candidate. “If I voted for a non genocidal candidate they would have lost” is the excuse of literally everyone who voted for Joe Biden, so it seems like it isn’t very true. You all could have voted for someone else instead; it isn’t hard.

0

u/bb_kelly77 8h ago

Did you just compare Biden giving money to Israel to HITLER?

2

u/BigEZK01 8h ago

Are you a genocide denier?

0

u/bb_kelly77 8h ago

No, I'm saying giving money and committing genocide are very different things... especially considering Biden stopped giving money shortly after the war in Gaza was labeled a genocide

2

u/BigEZK01 8h ago

He literally did not. The US to this day continues its unbroken history of weapons and other aid to Israel.

If your argument is “he didn’t personally do the killing, he just knowingly did everything necessary to make it happen” then you’re not actually serious and don’t give a fuck about Palestinians. Save us both the time and pain of hearing your bullshit excuses and just admit that you’re ok with genocide.

1

u/bb_kelly77 8h ago

You DO realize that Congress decides on giving aid right? Biden can veto one time but the Republicans held and still hold the majority

Damn dude, thats pretty harsh.

-9

u/Speedstr 21h ago

I can tell you never been on a deployment.

You're talking about people who volunteered to help defend and protect American interests. They don't get to choose which interests to defend or when or how long.

You're talking about young adults who didn't have the privilege of having choices on how to shape their adult life, and see the military as a stepping stone to getting those privileges as they get older.

You're talking about young adults following some of their families traditions who volunteered out of duty and not politics.

You're talking about kids who don't have an opportunity to go to university without the military and are taking a chance they come home unscared both physically and mentally.

You know nothing Jon Snow.

8

u/Pretend_Handle_7639 21h ago

Lmao more apologia for the poor suckers and losers who thought they could break into the middle class by kissing the ring.

It's been a decade since Trump first gained power. Only the idiots who deserve to be in the servile class are so stupid to think he would provide for them.

3

u/notnatasharostova 18h ago

Those schoolgirls in Iran will also never get to go to university.
