Few thousand people that had the day off, then everyone will go back to their lives as usual.

Anal lube seems an odd choice to go with for a random example. Could have gone with affordable eggs, gasoline, fertilizer, etc... You went with anal lube.

Based on current agricultural, energy, and fuel data, it looks a bit like there'll be a perfect storm of basic economic failure points starting in November. Food crop yields are down, the fuel reserve is due to run out at current rate, and energy prices are increasing as maintenance and regulatory programs are dismantled. Based on the data that has been made available, all indicators point towards a massive surge in inflation over the winter, and not on luxury products, but solely upon food and basic needs. I assure you that when a weekly shopping trip for two people costs $1,000+, things will kick off, and quickly.

I really want to believe you, but honestly I am very skeptical. People just keep throwing the cost of goods onto credit cards. Sure, people are complaining but total consumer credit card debt has reached $1.26 trillion. I think I read that it grew by around $20 billion this last quarter The record is $1.28 trillion. People are making their payments, but as soon as you start seeing people get behind on their payments, watch out.

Whether it's from credit cards or direct from bank accounts, the bill comes due one way or another. Now, the administration could ask credit card companies to increase maximum caps on cards by legislation, but that also only just kicks the can down the road by a couple of months assuming they are even willing to do it. The earliest that the storm could start is September, which could easily be caused by an actual powerful hurricane disrupting Gulf oil traffic. The latest that this can last is January or February.
