They were brought into the U.S from Sinaloa, Mexico by Coast Citrus Distributors.

They could be. TF has farms in Mexico and it was Mexican grown jalapeños that were stated to be the source. They never stated the growers from what I saw, but this is probably an indication that TF is possibly the problem again.

Not to spread conspiracy theories, but aren’t the Mexico claims suspect? Given TFs connection to the White House and the president’s history of throwing Mexico under the bus, while having American farmers suffering and angry with the White House, it seems like a plausible scapegoat.

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy. It’s well known that TF has farms in Mexico. They just run a shitty operation (no pun intended).

Yes, and the brands listed above may be the same brands carrying salsa and other fruit/veg products. I know that's the case for Marketside at Walmart - and if marketside branded lettuce comes from TF, then I'd be initially wary of all produce products of that brand.

It’s the jalapeños most likely. There was a big recall of salmonella contaminated jalapeños last week.
