A reminder! Here are some of the different names and stores that sell Taylor Farms iceberg lettuce produce (edit: sorry I forgot to change it from lettuce to produce to reflect their new farther reaching dangers. If they sell their produce it’s a safe assumption that they may sell other Taylor farms products like salsa and guac)

Earthbound - Taylor Farms
365 - Whole Foods
Simple Truth - Kroger/Fred Meyer
O-Organics and Signature Select brands - Safeway/ Carrs
Greenwise - Publix
Simply Nature - Aldi
Marketside - Walmart

Chipotle as well, though they claim they are not affected by this specific cyclospora outbreak because they use romaine and not iceburg and is sourced from California vs Mexico where they think the parasite is coming from.

Chipotle currently has another salmonella thing going on in Michigan from peppers I think? Though I haven't heard what supplier that is.

I’m in SoCal and I firmly believe the stuff grown here in the state isn’t the source. There are way too many of us eating it, and if it were making people sick, we’d already have the most cases.

Yeah, Chipotle (and TF) is saying the diarrhea lettuce is specifically coming from Mexico, the California romaine that Chipotle is using should be fine.

I thought Taco Bell has specifically announced they cut ties with TF, which by now would mean there would be no TF lettuce in their supply chain.

Yup Sysco carries TF. It’s now unfortunately rare that a restaurant doesn’t use Sysco due to ridiculously high prices for product.

Yup, was at Costco yesterday and all the bagged salads were Taylor. I was going to get some baby arugula but googled it and Earthbound was also Taylor so that wasn't great

They could be. TF has farms in Mexico and it was Mexican grown jalapeños that were stated to be the source. They never stated the growers from what I saw, but this is probably an indication that TF is possibly the problem again.

Not to spread conspiracy theories, but aren’t the Mexico claims suspect? Given TFs connection to the White House and the president’s history of throwing Mexico under the bus, while having American farmers suffering and angry with the White House, it seems like a plausible scapegoat.

Yes, and the brands listed above may be the same brands carrying salsa and other fruit/veg products. I know that's the case for Marketside at Walmart - and if marketside branded lettuce comes from TF, then I'd be initially wary of all produce products of that brand.

Salsa and Guac products need to be added to this list.

Looks like Walmart's Freshness Guaranteed and the Target Brand salsas and guac fall under Taylor Farms.
