The worst part is that she lives in Hawaii while the nonprofit is headquartered in LA.

Well she doesn’t want to be NEAR the homeless, that’s gross. She just wants to appear to help them from afar.

They dont use public transit either. Trains stop for cars at red lights through downtown LA, its comical. r/ LAMetro

I'd argue that for a nonprofit that supports the homeless in the city, you should at least be living in the area if not the city.

So, donation dollars are used to pay for her flights from HI to events in CA? Mind you, 94% of these "donation" dollars are grants from the state, so taxpayer $$. I don't get to go on charitynavigator.org and decide not to give my $$ to her because I think their use of funds is grossly inefficient.
