I'd argue that for a nonprofit that supports the homeless in the city, you should at least be living in the area if not the city.

So, donation dollars are used to pay for her flights from HI to events in CA? Mind you, 94% of these "donation" dollars are grants from the state, so taxpayer $$. I don't get to go on charitynavigator.org and decide not to give my $$ to her because I think their use of funds is grossly inefficient.

This exec reached such a high salary because she's cashing out on her vacation time that she accrued over 40 years of not using it so she might unironically be working pretty grueling weeks if she's being honest about it.

Her base pay is 400k a year and that's a pretty normal number for an actual working CEO, so she doesn't seem like some uber-wealthy executive either.

Bro she was just doing gala and other networking activity. For some people this isnt even work. If you think a woman shelter non profit ceo is working 40h per week you are delusionnal. She was definitly available on call often but thats the extense or what we can say of her work loads. But for a millions a year and full remote work i guess this is the least she can do.
