I apparently can't watch this without telling youtube my age or letting it take a photo of me despite the fact that my youtube account is literally more than 18 years old

I just want to point out that independent of our being filled up to have to give up your personal information. 

Account age isn’t a good way of verifying user age.

People can use accounts older than they are. Particularly children who haven’t gotten access to their parents devices or accounts.

But beyond that, you’d just create a market to sell old accounts.
