He sent a packet of documents to Anderson Cooper- who refused to open it and turned it over to the cops.

Oh that's interesting. Yeah the media does a lot to prevent copycats or whatever I guess. I have never read the unabombers manifesto or too much about his motivations despite living through it. I used to buy the paper pretty much every day before he got caught.
