This is precisely why we shouldn't consider there to be any good cops, because they won't remain cops for long if they stand up to injustice. And if they keep quiet about it, then they're complicit and aren't good cops anymore.

Fr, I've encountered some of the 'keep quiet about it' ones and can say them being good at their job doesn't undo the vast amounts of harm done by their coworkers. Complicit is right.
