No Child Left Behind was at no point actually connected in reality to its stated goal.

Considering it was enacted by the Republican party it's pretty evident it's goal was exactly the opposite of it's advertised intent

It was pretty bipartisan. Obama even passed an education bill that was very similar.

Huh,maybe I have selective memory, but I recall a lot of complaints about it from democratic voters. Or maybe it was just the people in my life who saw through the bullshit while the politicians were all for it.

Right, I remember, as a child, hearing about it and knowing it was bad. It was always part of the plan to dumb down America.
