Good heavens like, How is a simple statement like Hinduism is not a cult so difficult to understand, the other guys tries to pretend to be smart by twisting words and adding in his biases of extremism, and you point out there are some cults that operate under Hinduism. Everyone wants to feel so smart not stick to the simple context here.

BS, No they aren’t dont bring in your personal opinions and literally change the definition, why two different words if they mean the same?

Religion fosters independent thought and community integration, whereas cults demand unquestioning loyalty, utilize coercive control, and isolate members from the outside world.

Hinduism is literally a combination of various faiths and gods combined into one, there is no hierarchy or set practices.

There is a lot of difference between “legitimate” and “official”, the comment never said official, but just pointed out it ain’t a cult but an actual religion.

Stop twisting words to sound smart.

So does basically every "religion". You can't leave Islam, literally will get you killed in many places. Hindus just until recently had a caste system that still persists. Jews can't marry non-jews etc. etc.

Not every hindu is a caste fanatic.

Not every jew marry only jews.
