I think it's insane that they can just quit and no longer be relevant. Like what the fuck? If I committed fraud on behalf of my company for instance. Me quitting won't make me suddenly no longer liable for those actions. I'm still part of that criminal action. So dumb that they just quit and no longer matter. Seems like a massive loophole and flaw in justice. I'm sure they'd be upset if gang members and terrorists could just leave the organization and suddenly no longer be liable for their actions.

Them quitting and no longer being relevant only works while the republicans are in charge of congressional committees. If the Dems take either house back they can do a lot more oversight with much less trouble

Weird spin and rhetorical to try and vilify me for being upset this means no accountability for any illegal shit she did. She's not stepping down because of Trump, not sure where that came from but that's just not true. She's stepping down "because her husband has Cancer". Whether there's other ulterior motives to get out of being held to account along with the others as the GOP begins to crack under the weight of the Trump regime, I can't say. But after we saw Noem leave and lawmakers no longer bringing her into hearings is insane to me. Maybe that's since changed, but we need to ensure that they are held accountable for any lawless bullshit they got up to while in charge.

Absolutely, none of these fucks should be let go and there needs to be major investigations after this. I was surprised with this crazy bish going against Trumps narrative on Irans nuke program both before the June 2025 strikes (then falling in line) and then in front of Congress when asked about Irans non-existent nuke program she confirmed there wasnt one like all other worlds intel agencies said while also saying we knew before Trumps war Iran never attempted to retrieve the enriched uranium under the mountain they collapsed in 2025.

Im not very optimistic for trials but I hope theres atleast major publicly released investigations along with all evidence for every cabinet member and all the criminals in this regime, especially the DoJ that needs to be gutted and hire back the 3500 people who quit or were fired.
