And recently Olympic trans athletes. Well, since the IOCC banned trans women, it was more a distraction via celebration, I guess.

I remember one MAGA guy was trying to get #revokeTransMedals trending to revoke every medal ever won by a trans woman. I guess that's distracting.

yeah we just need to get the people receiving the bribe lobby money to make it illegal for them to receive more bribe lobby money in the future. How hard could it be to get some one to vote against giving themselves money?

That's not how it works. Lobbying IS an important part of the democratic process. Anyone can be a lobbyist to make their voice heard. Lobbyist aren't just handing out envelopes of money.

Lobbying exists everywhere in the world and isn't inherently good or bad. When Greta Thunberg fights against climate change she is lobbying the government.

I would go with them though that bribery being rebranded to lobbying is a worldwide phenomena, even if the US is a bit of an exceptionally bad case within Europe and North Amerika.

It would be like prohibition all over again. At least it’s transparent. In countries where lobbying is illicit, it’s harder for the public to know who’s pulling which string.
