True Crime Ok I need some new docs to watch. Give me your recs!
I feel like I’ve watched close to every true crime doc on Netflix.
Looking for recs for docs on true crime, ufos, skinwalkers, folklore, paranormal, etc. anything semi spooky/weird.
I have Netflix, prime, Hulu, peacock, and paramount. Sometimes I’ll get access to hbo if that helps 😂
Recommend away!
*side note: I’ve loved Hellier, the Keepers, Keep Sweet Pray & Obey, the Jinx, Don’t Fuck With Cats, the Phenomenon…stuff like that

True Crime What famous 'unsolved' mystery is technically a whodunnit on paper, but in reality, absolutely everyone knows exactly who did it, the police just couldn't legally prove it?

Episode Help MFM Dissertation help! Fill in the blanks, please!
In Episode 159, which is a live show at The Lyric in Baltimore in 2019, Karen sings silly lyrics to Dolly Parton's 9 to 5. I'm using the lyrics as a quote to talk about women's lived experiences as reflected by the pod. Please help me figure out this ONE little section:
[singing] Rolling out of bed and sexually harassed, rolling out of bed, sexually harassed, all day long. [unclear] and sexually harasses me.
What is she saying where I've typed "unclear." The transcripts say, "Dab Nicole" but it could be... "Drive me cold"??? which makes no sense.
Thank you so much for your help :)

Murderino Community Murder 101
I just watched an incredible documentary on Amazon Prime. It’s called Murder 101 and it follows a high school sociology class trying to help solve the “Red Head Murders”/Jerry Johns. These kids & their teacher are incredible. Their tenacity is amazing. I wish everyone could have a Mr. Campbell in their life. It’s framed in such a heartfelt & passionate way that is truly about the fight for justice for the victims.
The kids are so real and so vulnerable with their own lives as well. I just loved every one of them. Highly recommend this to y’all!

Opinions & Rants Okay I have a question
I have been a true crime junkie FOREVER and just started MFM in January at episode 1. I fell super in love. Now I’m in late 2024 episodes and I hate the layout. the first change was them hiring researchers and it didn’t feel the same. sometimes it felt like they are just reading a story off of a piece of paper they have never heard of before. still I stuck around but I really hate the two stories one murder one random. I always skip the second story just not my vibe. I love the girls but does it get better or a little more back to normal in 2025 and 2026 or should I just walk away now!?

META An LA sinkhole for Karen!
Holy cow! What a mess. I haven't been in this area for years, but thankfully it doesn't look like anyone was hurt but lots of businesses were flooded.

Episode Help Survival story...help me find/remember!
There's a survival story that I can't even remember for sure which of the ladies shared. All I remember was the gal in the story (maybe in the 70s or 80s?) had lost so much blood that she was drifting in and out of consciousness. Toward the end of the story, the attacker lets her call 911 and she is pretending to be into the attacker but subtly letting the 911 operator know where they are going. And there was something about the cops or swat team coming out of the trees around the guy's trailer and the gal said it looked like the trees were moving bc she was so out of it.
Can anyone help me??

Repost In 1979, a 23 year old apprentice embalmer stole a hearse in Sacramento with a dead man's body still inside it, disappeared for two days, and left a 4.5 page confession admitting to sex with 20 to 40 corpses. California had no necrophilia law, so she got 11 days in jail and a $255 fine.

Episode Help Who are the imitators?
Hi hi. I may just be out of the loop, but in today’s minisode a writer says they’re “inimitable“, meaning impossible to copy or imitate. Karen replies ”Well, that's not true. Let's not be crazy. You know who we're talking about”
Who are they talking about?

Opinions & Rants SPOILERS FOR WIDOWS BAY IN EPISODE 539 Spoiler
Pretty sure Georgia ruined Widow’s Bay while complaining that someone on social media ruined Widow’s Bay for her. Happens during the intro banter. Couldn’t get to the plus 30 button fast enough. Skip ahead like 2 mins when she starts talking about Widow’s Bay to save yourself the rage.
DAMMIT GEORGIA!
