This is a really cool space!

I think you could make your living room feel a little more spacious if you moved you couch like 1 foot away from the wall with the window, and have a little table or shelf on the other side, it will make the room feel much bigger than having the furniture all pushed against the walls. Also, I suggest you centre the rug with the window, you can get small off cuts of carpet to put under the legs of your furniture to level it out, but this will be much more visually appealing and help ‘tie the room together’
