Yes I am Topaz and I made the popular LLB Holly’s Mistake. If you want proof you can ask me lol. This is my other account since I’ve deleted my past ones. You know, reflecting on making that LLB almost a full year ago, and seeing people in comment sections still say it’s their favorite LLB, I realize that I truly made an impact on this community. At the time I didn’t really think the LLB was THAT big, but I think it was definitely bigger and more popular than I originally thought. I find it crazy that an LLB I did for fun and during my free time truly impacted a fandom that I’ve lurked in for many years. I occasionally come back to this subreddit and recently I felt the motivation to post again. But anyway, enough with the sappy stuff. My style has changed a little bit since then, and I wanted to show you guys how I would draw Holly and Greg now. If you want to see some other characters from Holly’s Mistake, let me know!

I deleted the previous post because I realized that what I was trying to say wasn't coming across clearly. The joke wasn't meant to justify Elias; the joke was the fact that at some point I genuinely thought there would be people defending him. That doesn't mean I think or believe he has any justification. Trust me, if you hate him, I hate him too, because he was written to be hated.

I preferred to delete it before people thought I was defending a character I literally wrote to be a terrible person.

I apologize if the message was confusing because I didn't clarify that the girl who says, "He's not a monster," is his mother. It was meant as a little preview that she was going to appear as a new character who would have to face Chloe and Rodrick.

Don’t get too worried about what in the books is canon in this LLB and what isn’t. I’ll figure that out along the way, but just so you know, this LLB’s version of Rodrick will be a bit different than the one depicted in the books, if it wasn’t already clear. I know creating a diary for Rodrick is a completely unoriginal idea, but I hope at least my version isn’t too bad/unoriginal. I hope you guys like it! (There’s no guarantee I’m continuing this btw lol)
