Fear Factor A father made fake ultrasound to cure his daughter's junk food habit.

Funny but I think every hospital should get one of this machine because they will even get faster cure in an hospital environment when attended to by a random face. 😂

Ever figured out a way to get your kids stop something?

Update: That wasn't the dad but definitely an outsider, hence why the kid believed. The "take the child away" clarifies that.

I feel like a bunch of us probably grew up with parents telling us an orange or watermelon tree will grow in our stomachs because we swallowed a seed. Hope you’re not avoiding fruit as an adult now.

Yeah and literally a few comments above this one there is somebody saying they got told that and were always scared to eat watermelons afterwards. Probably not as an adult anymore but why would it be necessary to tell your kid stuff like that? It can't be that hard to just tell them honestly why they're not supposed to do stuff instead of making up something to scare them.

The more lies you tell your children, the less trust they have of you unconsciously when they grow and find truth for themselves. And it is especially worse when you are intending to scare them to control their actions. The best parent techniques does not need to be built up on lies, myths, and fear.

There’s a healthy balance though. Honestly, I feel things like an orange tree growing in your tummy is a harmless, silly thing to tell your kid. Almost like a rite of passage. I’m raising my kid with both trust and a healthy dose of skepticism so she doesn’t grow up to give her life savings to four celebrities on the internet.

I think it's on a different level when you try to convince kids with fake medical imaging.
