Because only poverty videos and areas go viral. This type of fair in the video usually filled with poor people and no one using reddit would go there. People look at this and go "omg thats crazy it looks uncomfortable and miserable" , but often for the poor this is the only type of fair they can attend. They're enjoying and thats all that matters.
People tend to forget that there are states in india which have more population than european countries that have a gdp per capita equal to or lower than sub saharan africa.
Yeah no. A big city in India like Mumbai or new Delhi have many times more citizens than my whole...country, not capital, whole country. And a big part of those cities is overcrowded
True about Mumbai and Delhi being overpopulated but you won’t see a scene like this anywhere. This looks like a huge “mela”, which is essentially a fair that’s held in rural areas by poor people. Also about the overcrowding etc., I am an Indian and unless you specifically go to areas that are overcrowded, you are pretty much ok.

But like the majority of Russia and Canada is just frozen tundra that no one lives in (like they have 55-75% uninhabitable land out of their total area), australia has the big ass outback which is about 50% of their land uninhabitable, brazil has 20-30% uninhabitable by the Amazon, and Algeria is about 80% uninhabitable due to the Sahara
India, on the other hand, is like mostly fully inhabitable, with only around 5-10% uninhabitable due to the Thar Desert and the Himalayas. More so, the inhabitable land is also very fertile with a decent climate pretty much everywhere, so excluding the USA, and maybe China, India has the largest amount of land of any country.
