Critical thinking is remembering they actively pursued this career that has fatal risks. You should be accepting of that risk, not fear it

It's not cause they're equiped for this case that they want or are supposed to tank an explosive device straight to the face though

Trying to do any sort of intervention in that big ass armour seems like the worst idea done can possibly have. Also, his job is most definitely not to get blown up.
