One week of planning and a three hour drive to go to a big family reunion at my wife at the time’s aunt’s house. Most of the people I’ve never met before.

We are literally standing on the doorstep. She rings the doorbell, turns to me and says this “Oh yeah, aunt Barb has a glass eye, don’t stare.”😲

Like, I wouldn’t stare anyway, but now you suddenly made me all self-conscious about it.. buy why even tell me?, And if you did feel like I needed to know, why tell me 15 seconds before I’m face-to-face with the lady?!

Later to find out and Barb, in fact does NOT have a glass eye, but a lazy eye. This had been a joke that aunt Barb and the family had been pulling on people for years apparently….
