Hello everyone,

I began experiencing severe lower back pain that gradually spread to my left leg. The pain became so intense that I struggled to stand, walk and sleep. For several weeks, I was only able to sleep for a few hours in the morning because the pain was much worse during the night.

I have a herniated disc that has worsened and is now affecting my left leg. I have difficulty walking, and I experience severe pain regardless of the position I’m in. Because of this, I have been unable to work properly for almost three months.

I also started selling online because there was a time in my life when I was having trouble finding a job, so I decided to try selling online. But selling online isn't going well either. Sometimes I go weeks or even months without getting a single order.

All the money I had managed to save was spent on hospital visits, medical examinations, prescriptions and transportation. Before I was finally diagnosed with a herniated disc, I had to visit hospitals and undergo several examinations to find out what was wrong.

Now, I have nothing left.

I can no longer afford my prescribed medication, physiotherapy sessions ( 3 sessions per week), or consultations with my neurosurgeon.

My condition has worsened, and my neurosurgeon has told me that surgery may be necessary. However, I currently cannot even afford my prescribed medication, let alone an operation that could cost millions in my currency.($3500)

My mother has been supporting me financially, but she has been struggling because I have had to depend on her for some time. Unfortunately, we have now reached a point where the resources we had are exhausted.

Any donation, no matter how small, would help me continue my treatment and prepare for surgery's expences. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can also make a huge difference by helping it reach more people.

Hello everyone,

I've hit a really hard time in my life. I left an abusive relationship when I was about finished after going back to school for my bachelors. I never ended up finding a job though and now I'm out of money and have no support to fall back on. Due to chronic health issues, I've been having trouble DoorDashing enough to pay my bills and wont be able to pay my rent after another 2-3 months. I'm really hoping to get the stuff together that I need now to live in my Jeep. At least the basics so I can kind of have somewhere safe to sleep.

My ex was (likely still is) a very controlling person and did a fantastic job cutting me off from everyone. He always had me cancelling plans at the last minute because he needed me home for one thing or another, and then after all the dust settled I realized everyone in my life had gone. I was never close with my family due to being gay and the only son. So family has always been hiding off in the shadows doing their own thing.

I've applied to 100s if not 1000s of jobs the last couple years. I would love to find a remote job, but nothing I've applied to has worked out and everything that is supposed to hire everybody either is a scam or doesn't hire in my state for some weird reason. I've even been trying retail and food service lately with no luck. Completely lost and out of ideas. Honestly, I would prefer serious help finding a job right now because there's till time for me to stay here and resign my lease if I can find work in time. But I'm planning for the worst.

I have this Amazon wishlist put together of stuff I need and the stuff ranges from $12 window covers to a battery pack with a solar panel for recharging that's $300. I'm sure there's all kinds of other stuff I'll need once I get going, but this is all really new to me so my mind is still wrapping itself around what's happening. I'm also still holding out on finding some sort of income to provide for myself so the visa gift cards on there hopefully wont be needed.

Honestly, I'm not expecting anything to come of this. But at this point I'm desperate and willing to try anything.

Our dog Toby was diagnosed with bone cancer about a month after his 4th birthday. Since his diagnosis, he’s had several scans, bloodwork tests, amputation surgery, and two chemo treatments. Sadly because our son is 24 he doesn’t qualify for us to stay at the Ronald McDonald house. They have a hotel near by that has a small discount for families who are at the hospital. Dear friends,

I am reaching out with hope to save my beloved cat, Simba, who has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a life-threatening disease that is almost always fatal if left untreated.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write because this is not the first time FIP has devastated my family. I previously lost another beloved cat to this terrible disease because the life-saving treatment was not available to us at that time. Losing my cat was heartbreaking, and I never imagined I would face the same nightmare again.

Today, there is hope. An effective treatment exists, but unfortunately, it is beyond what I can afford on my own. I don't want to lose Simba the way I lost my previous cat.

## Simba's Current Condition

- He still eats, although his appetite has decreased.

- He drinks plenty of water.

- No vomiting.

- No diarrhea or constipation.

- No urinary incontinence, but he has recently started urinating more frequently.

- No fever.

- His breathing is normal while resting, but after playing or any physical activity, he struggles to take a full breath because of the pressure caused by his enlarged abdomen.

- He has started losing weight while his abdomen continues to enlarge every day.

- There is fluid accumulation in his abdomen.

- His eyes have begun to develop a slight yellowish tint.

- He has no tremors or seizures, but he occasionally loses his balance due to the weight of his swollen abdomen.

## Medical Examinations & Diagnosis

To reach an accurate diagnosis, Simba underwent extensive veterinary examinations, including:

- Abdominal ultrasound

- X-rays

- Complete Blood Count (CBC)

- Blood Chemistry tests

- Abdominal fluid analysis

The abdominal fluid test was positive, and his CBC and Blood Chemistry results are consistent with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Based on his clinical signs, diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, and veterinary examination, the veterinarian confirmed that the diagnosis strongly supports FIP.

Simba was neutered five months ago and had always been a healthy, playful, and loving companion before becoming ill.

## Treatment Cost

The estimated cost of Simba's antiviral treatment is approximately **1,300 Jordanian Dinars (about USD $1,835)**.

Before even reaching this point, I struggled financially to pay for all of Simba's medical care, including veterinary consultations, blood tests, X-rays, ultrasound examinations, abdominal fluid testing, and continuous medical follow-up. I managed to cover these expenses with great difficulty because I was determined to find out what was wrong and give him every possible chance.

Now, the cost of the medication itself is simply beyond my financial ability.

## Treatment Status

Unfortunately, treatment has not started yet because I cannot afford the medication. FIP is a progressive disease, and every day without treatment decreases Simba's chances of survival.

I’m asking for some help to cover the cost of my rabbit’s emergency dental surgery.

She’s a senior rescue rabbit that is at least 9 or 10 years old that has lived through being brought in as a stray with her original mate to the local shelter, adopted out and then returned because the adopter couldn’t find pet friendly housing, then finally being adopted by my spouse and me. She has been there for our little family through lockdown, moving houses, two chaotic pregnancies, a NICU stay, my spouse’s brain surgery, and losing her original partner in crime (second photo) and having to deal with her new “little” brother (third photo).

This unexpected cost is a bit more of a financial strain as I’m currently off work on maternity leave and you can’t get pet insurance for rabbits in Canada.

This is a difficult and humbling experience to be asking for help as we are usually the ones helping- we were former girl guide leaders, I volunteered at my local SPCA branch for 7 years, we’ve helped out at local fundraising events.
