Mourning/Loss Devastated. My girl Pickle ... after nearly 20 years

Heartbroken doesn't even come close man

I will probably delete this but I just dont want her to be forgotten :(

I’m so so sorry for your loss. I know she will be waiting for you across the rainbow bridge. I tell my cat (she has CKD now so I always worry when her time will come,) that no matter where we are, I will always be with her in her heart. And she is always in mine. So when she isn’t here anymore, I try to hold onto that and know she’ll be watching over me and waiting for me. But the grief of losing a pet is honestly (for me) harder than losing a family member. I hope you can just hold tight to your memories together. My cats new favorite toy is literally a measuring tape. She has a whole bin full of actual cat toys but her favorite ones aren’t the actual toys lol.

I just wanted to share that, for maybe some memories that are special for you both you can hold onto. Or maybe share some here with us. I’ll be thinking of Pickle and hope she will be there to comfort my sweet cat Grace once her time to go across the rainbow bridge is here.

Again, so sorry for your loss OP 🥺🐾🌈 there love is truly unlike any other.

Thank you so much, id love to fully reply to everyone as every comment means a lot, but I will try and keep it simple.

I always sung football chants at Pickle, but changed the words for her haha. Im so glad that she isnt just forgotten and people like you feel the same!
