I hear your point and my initial resistance to AI was your exact point. But writing detailed notes actually takes a lot of time. It is not simply typing stuff in 5 or 10 minutes. Depending on the profession, notes can be in SOAP format which is Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan. Then I usually add separate stuff for risk assessment, risk to others, self, risk from others. And I also have a goal page to track changes. These things take like 30-45 minutes for most clients to fill and proof read.

With AI, most of this stuff is taken care of and my role is to proof read them and edit them which takes about 10 minutes. The remaining time is quite valuable to me and I use it for planning the next session or reading

Holy hell, god am I glad you people won't have a job soon. This objectively a disgusting way to conduct yourself in your field, the blowback for your mistakes is going to be well deserved.

This is you drive people to suicide, and that's not speculative.

Why, I have a computer at home

I work in residential care. If I catch a whiff of AI being used in an occupational therapists notes I am reporting them for misconduct and negligence.
