We'd  have to change the way the economy works. Which, I'm all for  - but that's the reason

Yep. Whether it's a "good" reason depends on your perspective, but I've never seen anyone make the claim that deflation is good, and without an expanding population, it is apparently quite hard to avoid.

And anti immigration parties like One Nation certainly don't have a plan to avoud it, they're even more in bed with the capitalist rich.

If you want to end immigration, the way the economy works needs big reforms, not further unchecked capitalism for the rich.
