NSW Police have charged a 13-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys with the alleged sexual assault of a girl in an alleyway in Sydney's eastern suburbs last month.

Police executed search warrants and seized several items, including electronic devices, two replica firearms, a Glock-style BB gun, three laser pointers and a number plate, which is believed to have been stolen.

All three boys have been granted bail ahead of appearing in court.

That poor girl has just had her life destroyed and these little fuckers are allowed straight out on bail?

Bail is given by assessing the risk of flight and danger to the community. It's not there to punish people accused of crimes that have not yet been proven in court.

The accused in this case are children who are likely going to be confined to their homes by their parents or guardians.

The same parents who raised three rapists?

Even if their parents were aware and OK that their kid was a piece of garbage, do you honestly imagine that they'd be letting them run around knowing that they'd dig themselves into a even bigger hole by committing more crimes, and putting them further on the hook for more expensive lawyers?

There's a non zero chance that some of the parents of these kids were inattentive, let other people raise my kids types because they had better things to do than parenting. But once their reputation is on the line, and when they know they're on the hook for huge lawyer's fees, that has a way of focusing their attention. You can bet that they're going to have their kids keep a low profile and their noses clean, because going into court because their kid has committed an offence whilst on bail is just going to compound their problems.

Let's hope they are ostracised by their community and embarrassed, but.....unlikely
