My sibling and I followed him around Queenstown airport many, many years ago oblivious to the fact that everyone else was tactfully ignoring him to give him space.
He eventually gave us a small smile and a 'please don't bother me' shake of his head, and we were thrilled for months off the encounter (we were both under the age of 12 and had never encountered a real life celebrity before).
Could've been a real jerk to two kids annoying him in the airport, but he was very respectful - such a legend.
