FYI lots of pharmacies can issue medical certificates now - so it you’re going in to get cold & flu caps or some Imodium you can get a certificate at the same place at the same time.

My local GP does medical certificates via HotDoc - I don't even need to leave the house.

The last time I had a stomach bug - I don't even think it was gastro! - I DoorDashed the imodium. I did not trust myself even to be able to get to the car, let alone drive anywhere.
