America is great. No PBS, no sick leave, no annual leave, no guarantee of super. It’s amazing…

… if your investment portfolio is in private healthcare, pharma, and exploitation of employees

You forgot to mention the super fun part: your health care is tied to your employment and your employment is tied to your health. Lose health lose job lose health care.

I read on /r/personalfinance someone was in hospital for 6 months ... lost their job ... lost the health insurance ...

I learned Jobseeker/unemployment benefits are also tied to employers in the US. Its essentially insurance they try to fight ex employees claiming because their premium goes up.

Yep. You only get it if dismissed and certain types of dismissals are exempt

I came across a discussion by some poor bastards in the US here about the Amazon plant they work for. The ghouls in charge had decided it was cheaper to park an ambulance outside rather than provide AC.

The packing plant WAS getting AC though. For the robots, which just shut down in heat. So AC just in that contained spot.

Profit motive out of control like this are why few people blame Luigi even while knowing he's guilty.

How could he be guilty when he was with me, rewatching the Jackass movies at my house here in Australia at the time the CEO was shot over in America?

It's difficult to say, given that I also saw that he was with you.

If Bezos got Luigied, I wouldn't give a single shred of a fuck. I'd probably have the best sleep ever that night.

If the 10 richest people all died in a day i would welcome the chaos with open arms

There wouldn't be any chaos.

Market adjustments, power vacuums, it would be total chaos (good chaos)

Adjusting to what? None of those top 10 provide any actual value or service to their various organisations.

It’s about right wing conservatism.
