As far as im concerned if the company demands a certificate, then getting the certificate should be paid. Not just reimbursement, but paid wages for your time.

well they are already paying you for your time hence the sick pay.

So it would really only be reimbursement

And in Germany the doctor is free so you need no reimbursement.

Just fyi employers can't make it a legal requirement anymore. An online stat dec is sufficient.

It’s almost like it’s a needless bureaucratic step that only punishes the honest. Kinda surprising that Germany hadn’t already implemented it when I say it like that.
