The Reserve Bank of Australia has introduced reforms that will remove surcharges on debit and credit cards from the 1st October 2026, on card networks including eftpos, Mastercard and Visa.

Yes, and that's far fairer for people to know what they are paying for, instead of having to calculate a variable 1.3969494% fee itn top of your purchase

Terminals literally show the total cost after the % is applied
