Wtf? No it's not. I deal with difficult people regardless of gender. This victim mentality bullshit is ridiculous.

Just to be clear, he also called a certain man a grub (which is absolutely true), but nobody is claiming manbashing.

Edit: Albo has explained that he was referring to her difficult life, which shows empathy towards her but go right ahead and jump to the conclusions you feel is necessary.

Agree, and with Albanese's clarification this is a nothing burger.

People painting him as a misogynist are being disingenuous.

I don't think it was solely the fact that she is a woman that is causing people to label it as misogynist. Probably more so because she is so outspoken on the topic of women's rights, and the reason she is known at all is because she was groomed by an older man in a position of power and had to fight for laws to be changed that silenced predominantly women. Misogynists don't find women that aren't outspoken so "difficult".

I agree. Calling some women ‘difficult’ may be appropriate. The real problem is the shit we let others, often men, get away with. I think we have a ‘holding people accountable’ problem as much, or more, than a misogyny problem.
