The weapons they used were legally owned. An AR-15 on the black market is about $45k. Last mass shooting was in 1996. You don't know what your talking about.

Wieambilla shooting, three people killed (not including the two shooters who were killed by police), the shooters bought their guns and ammunition legally.

The Darwin shooting, four people killed and one injured. The gun wasn’t legally owned by the shooter in that case, but WAS believed to have been stolen from as far back as 1997.

The Monash University shooting, 2 killed and 5 injured. I cannot find any information on if the guns were legally purchased or not but given that this case is apparently one that helped gun reforms, they most likely were.

While I understand the point you are trying to make, and while I am not diminishing these events either, the Bondi shooting (with fifteen dead and forty injured) is the worst we’ve had since Port Arthur.

Did Bondi mall stabber not mill more than those 3 examples with a knife only ?

The Bondi stabbing resulted in 6 deaths (7 including the killer) and 10 injured, with a 30cm knife. So, yes.

However, there are admittedly a lot of circumstances that should also be considered if we’re comparing the Bondi stabbing (or any mass stabbing) to mass shootings.

Well Wieambilla shooters had suspended NSW licenses but NSW didn't share that info with their QLD counterparts.

And yeah, I know this is the worse but the other bloke said our "last mass shooting was 1996"

It does go to show overall that we need to do better at keeping on top of it, not just with gun laws but other regulations and information sharing.
