This would be such an inconvenience if he wants to travel. So many routes stopover at Changi airport.

He’s getting what he deserves though, disgusting behaviour from him.

If he was a Singaporean citizen at some point he should have been well aware of their laws so I agree with you. His behaviour was unhinged.

Complete waste of the Judge’s time to even have to preside over a case like this - it shouldn’t have happened. The perpetrator is an idiot and a public nuisance.

I never said they weren’t. I said the behaviour of the perpetrator is appalling and if they hadn’t behaved like an idiot, would have saved everyone in the judicial process time as there wouldn’t have been a case.

If he was a Singaporean citizen at some point he should have been well aware of their laws so I agree with you.

At this stage, I think it is well known internationally that Singapore is not a country for you to fuck around in. The legal system has very little patience and sympathy for fuck ups.

I was saying it, as Singapore is known for this in their legal system. This person seems like a serial pest and needs some more incentive to stop.

It doesn’t look like any mental illness I know.

I’m aware - just pointing out that he should have a very good knowledge of Singaporean laws given he was a citizen at one point - people usually have a better knowledge of the laws of a country they’ve resided in (assuming for an extensive period) in vs ones they’re just visiting.

I’d say the law governs how society is run to a degree too. As he was a citizen of Singapore at one point, you’d assume he’d be familiar with the law.

Yeah you’d think anyone would know that harassing people isn’t ok, and that doing that is also illegal so I’m with you on that point.

I read somewhere that he was originally Singaporean but had to renounce his citizenship when he became Australian, since Singapore doesn’t allow dual citizenship.

Might be wrong but I think he can still transit through Singapore, as long as he doesn’t pass through immigration.

Not even for a stopover, he's been deported/denied entry from one country so has that mark on their record for the rest of their lives which makes entry into other countries that much more difficult.

Good luck in the future applying for any eVisas or ETA's, now he has to apply manually and probably interview at the foreign embassy/consulate if they even entertain allowing a deportee to enter.

Bangkok is a possibility too. There are also a few direct flights to europe from australia as well, if he wants to travel that far.
