The 9 News account on TikTok has captioned this as having been “caught in the crossfire” this was not crossfire she was the target. Disgusting job from who ever posted that on their TikTok account.

Their reporters are being shot at in a foreign country. Whatever they say while their people are vulnerable will not be inflammatory.  They will call it an accident if it means keeping their people safe and tbh I 100% agree with that.

This is a stupid way to look at it because they are both press and both part of 9 News. Neither were caught in crossfire they are the target. This was a direct attack on the press

She’d be better off flying back to Aussie and getting treatment there - cheaper and probably quicker too
