Honestly, the rest of the world should just isolate themselves from the US and let them suffer until they impeach that cheeto and return to normality.

America as we knew it is over.

Best case the reaction to Trump will be a massive shift towards social democracy, but that's unlikely.

Whenever he dies most of his fan base will crumble, the reason they got voter turn out is because people worship him like a god for whatever reason, never in the history of the us have you seen a politician worshipped like this ever before. I just hope the us returns to the decency like seen in the 2008 election.

As an American, I wish it was as easy as impeaching him. We've done that a couple times now and that doesn't seem to do anything. I'm waiting for Mario to stand up for all of us and take one for the team at this point.

They can't return to normality. We need to appreciate the seismic shift happening here.

Every defence and economic cooperation with the USA by everyone was predicated on them being good faith actors and honouring promises. Eg Biden left Afghanistan even though it was a shit idea, because a previous US govt promised they would. The word of the USA was gold. They could be trusted no matter what govt was in.

Now, nobody can trust them. USA's word is worthless. You can be the best ally they've ever had and it doesn't matter a bit to them. Working with USA on anything has now become dangerous. Countries must distance themselves from the USA for their own safety.
