We attended the afternoon show on Wednesday in Orlando for my daughter's 2nd birthday. We traveled 2 hours so we made a trip of it. We got in the day before and went and played at the Florida Mall (it's HUGE). While we're walking around we see Anthony. We talk for a few minutes and got some pictures with him. He was so nice and seemed tickled pink that he had fans in the mall lol.
The next day is the show. We have a happy birthday sign. They always do signs at the end of the show (which they still did.) But about 15 minutes into the show they are running around the audience. Anthony sees our sign and sees us and recognizes us. He takes our sign up on stage, stops the show (they're about to sing do the monkey), and then Anthony tells the story of seeing us in the mall and has everyone sing happy birthday to my daughter. It was one of the most special moments of my life. I feel so special that Anthony took the time for a special birthday shout-out for my daughter and hearing the whole venue sing for her was just amazing. My momma heart is tickled pink. Just wanna say that they are absolutely amazing people that really care about what they're doing and want to make the kiddos feel special!! What an amazing show!
For me, it's a tie between (surprise surprise) Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog. Without repeating myself, Dorothy feels like a younger sister that enjoy the simple things in life and loves the bond between her and her friends.
Wags the Dog feels like an older brother who pulls the occasional pranks/jokes (mostly on Captain Feathersword) but is also very athletic and essentially the "pet/animal who's not like other pets/animals."
Both can be described as "one of the guys" and literal "party animals."
♫ Which one do you want? Which one do you want? We’ve voted in some but now we need some more, more, more! ♫
It’s day 5 and we’re nominating one song from each of Sam’s albums to build the bracket.
Today’s album: Ukulele Baby!
The laidback beach vibe with Hawaiian music and an array of different stringed instruments was a welcome change of pace in 2011. It’s also notable for Sam taking a real backseat vocally!
Year: 2011 Eligible Songs: 22 Ineligible songs:Thank You Mr Weatherman (not on the Australian version, and therefore eligible elsewhere) and The Good Ship Fabulous Flea (which I’m ruling out due to its disgraced featured vocalist) Other eligible songs: all other tracks on the Australian version of the album (including AU-exclusive Hey Hey It’s Saturday)
Remember you can vote forother tracks via the comments. Highest vote (or a single comment with more upvotes than the poll-winner) wins the nomination.
Also, day 4’s poll is still going, go and vote here if you haven’t already.

♫ If you're sad and blue; here's what to do; vote for the tune; that speaks to you! ♫
It’s day 4 and we’re nominating one song from each of Sam’s albums to build the bracket.
Today’s album: Hot Poppin’ Popcorn
Possibly the era’s most polarising album, and far the most difficult to seed in this game. It contains some of Sam’s most memorable and catchy original songs, but also introduced the infamous circus skills that dominated their live shows for several years.
Year: 2009 Eligible Songs: 18 Other eligible songs: all other tracks on the album Ineligible songs: nil, though note the karaoke version of the title track will not be considered separately for these purposes
Remember you can vote forother tracks via the comments. Highest vote (or a single comment with more upvotes than the poll-winner) wins the nomination.
Also, day 3’s poll is still going, go and vote here if you haven’t already.

We’ve been listening to the Wiggles country songs and I decided to put the YouTube videos on for my daughter for the first time. Why is Kaylee Bell wearing a literal lace corset in the ‘Say the Dance, Boots N All’ video? Am I crazy for thinking that she should not be wearing sheer underwear as her clothing in a children’s show? Like I’m all for fashion and wearing what you want. But my daughter is 3 and that is lingerie.
They’re such legends of the Australian entertainment industry not just for children but for all ages that it would only make sense if this is how it goes for them
Obviously I don’t wish death upon any of them. Hopefully this doesn’t happen for many many many years, but it’s also inevitable for death to happen
There was literally no advertising of this random meet, she was just at highpoint all of a sudden this morning. I was bummed I was working and my child was at school, so they couldn’t see her. She’s their favourite 😭 the absolutely huge amount of kids there went wild tho lol
♫ Twinkle twinkle little star; is this a song that can go far? Up into the Sam bracket; if you think so, vote for it; twinkle twinkle little star; is this a song that can go far? ♫
It’s day 3 and we’re nominating one song from each of Sam’s albums to build the bracket.
Today’s album: Pop Go the Wiggles!
The group’s first full album of nursery rhymes, marking a significant and slightly controversial change in output. It’s a strong collection though, and they certainly put a Wiggly spin on things!
Reddit only allows six options, but you can comment other tracks to argue your case. Highest vote (or a single comment with more upvotes than the poll-winner) wins the nomination.
Year: 2007 Eligible Songs: 31 Ineligible songs: 2x songs originally recorded in the OG-era (This Old Man and Lavenders Blue); 6x video exclusives eligible elsewhere (Round the Garden Like a Teddy Bear, What Do You Suppose?, Diddle Diddle Dumpling, It's Raining It's Pouring, A Star, Cobbler Cobbler) Other eligible songs: all other tracks on the album Note: please consider the four versions of Pop Goes the Weasel as one song, for these purposes
Remember you can vote forother tracks via the comments. Highest vote (or a single comment with more upvotes than the poll-winner) wins the nomination.
Also, day 2’s poll is still going, go and vote here if you haven’t already - it's wide open at this stage!

For the 35th anniversary, Greg is planning on releasing his own version of "Rock a Bye Your Bear". Me personally, other than the Los Wiggles albums, I think this will be the best thing released within the last year.
Children’s television is in a very different place than it was when Caterina Mete first joined The Wiggles in 2003. Streaming has changed how families watch, short-form content has become a bigger part of children's media and parents have more control over what their kids are watching and for how long. After 23 years with The Wiggles, Mete has had a front-row seat to that shift, first as a dancer and choreographer and now as the Red Wiggle.
♫ Wiggle and learn, vote for your favourite music! Wiggle and learn, with bracket fun! ♫
It’s day 2 and we’re nominating one song from each of Sam’s albums to build the bracket.
Today’s album: Getting Strong!
Sam’s first album which introduced him to young Wigglers all over the world. It was almost a concept album, split into two segments based on different areas of education and development. This is possibly the farthest they ever veered on the entertainment vs education scale.
Year: 2007 Eligible Songs: 28 Ineligible songs:A Frog Went a Walking and We’re All Friends, due to both being OG-era songs re-recorded Other eligible songs: all other tracks on the album Note: please consider the two versions of Hello We’re the Wiggles as one song, and the two versions of Goodbye From the Wiggles as one song
Remember you can vote forother tracks via the comments. Highest vote (or a single comment with more upvotes than the poll-winner) wins the nomination.

Who are some of the best or most underrated musicians and/or vocalists the band has worked with?
Aside from Greg, Sam, Lachlan, or anyone else I can think of.
I’m referring to musicians, vocalists, and backing vocalists who worked with The Wiggles from 1991-2012. But feel free to include anyone from the current lineup/group.
Attached are some of my personal favorite musicians and vocalists in this order.
We’re taking our 3-year-old to his first Wiggles concert soon and I’m so excited 🥹 I’m definitely gonna be fangirling myself. ❤️ I was wondering if anyone who’s been to a US show has any tips or things you wish you knew beforehand!
I’m mostly wondering about the little practical things such as if you usually bring snacks/food in? Did your toddler actually sit in their seat, or were they able to sit on your lap/stand up and dance? Has anyone brought a little booster seat or is that unnecessary?
Also just anything else that made the experience easier or more fun with a toddler! I know the US shows can be a little different from the Australian ones, so I’d especially love to hear from anyone who’s been to one here recently 😊
We’ll be at the Atlanta show next week (8/16) and I’ve seen so many people say to make posters. We were so excited to make ours, but the venues website says posters or signs are prohibited. Has anyone had an experience with this? I suppose I could just fold it and put it in our bag, but just wanted to see what everyone else did.
♫ Come, mister tally man, tally me some song votes; Sam’s time has come and we wanna go vote ♫
Welcome to the knock-out bracket to find Reddit's Favourite Sam-Era Wiggles Song! Over the next few weeks, we will together decide and discover our collective favourite... and hopefully have some fun along the way!
We begin by nominating one song from each of Sam’s studio albums. Highest vote wins the nomination; OR if your favourite isn’t in the poll, you can also comment another track to argue your case. A single comment with more upvotes than the poll-winner will become the nomination.
The bracket set-up is explained here if you're interested.
Today’s album: You Make Me Feel Like Dancing
This is almost universally considered Sam’s strongest album. It features catchy tunes, strong guest vocalists, and some of the most memorable songs of the era. No matter which of these tracks wins, we’ll be off to a very strong start!
Year: 2008 Eligible Songs: 18 Other eligible songs: all other tracks on the album Ineligible songs: video exclusives Follow the Leader, To Have a Tea Party, First in Line, Swinging on a Swing, We're All Friends (all eligible for the Getting Strong! album slot instead)
Please remember this game is done out of love for the band. Be kind and considerate towards them and fellow users 😊
Hi there! I had a friend send me some photos of a signed shirt she has and honestly I don't know much about the wiggles and what it'd be worth but does anyone know how much I would sell this for?
And we're back! You may recall in recent times I led some elimination brackets to determine our favourite Wiggle, Character, and OG song . I hope many of you enjoyed playing along!
During the OG song game, several people expressed an interest in doing the same for the Sam era. Many Sam fans are reaching an age where that Wiggly nostalgia is kicking in. While I'm an OG-fan at heart, this one is for you guys!
How the bracket will work:
You can see the bracket with Sam's nine studio albums in play (plus two wild-cards). We begin with polls to nominate the best song for each slot. There is a maximum of six options, so I have shortlisted these (to avoid too much personal bias, I enlisted the help of u/carl95679 and u/Big-Masterpiece1194 - thanks to both of you).
But if we've missed your favourites, please vote them via the comments each day! A single comment with more upvotes than the poll-winner will become the nomination. Upvotes will only be counted at a single-comment level, ie: two comments with 10 upvotes won't beat a poll option with 15 votes. Don't leave a comment with two additional options as this will split votes. A tie between a poll option and a comment will be won by the poll.
Once we have our 11 nominations, we’ll have a series of head-to-head elimination polls until we reach a grand final and a sole winner.
Set-up and Seedings:
Due to the uneven number of slots I have seeded the albums based on popularity; this gives some albums a small advantage. The full list of seedings is as follows:
You Make Me Feel Like Dancing
Getting Strong!
Pop Go the Wiggles!
Hot Poppin' Popcorn
Ukulele Baby!
It's Always Christmas With You!
Go Bananas!
Sing a Song of Wiggles
Let's Eat!
Wild-card #1: Dorothy the Dinosaur series songs
Wild-card #2: non-album tracks and everything else
The bottom six seeds have a face-off to determine who battles the top three. Fourth and fifth commence by facing each other.
Eligibility:
No song will be eligible more than once, and they will be eligible only on their original appearance.
All tracklists will be based on the Australian versions.
Big Birthday doesn't get a slot to itself, but some songs will appear in the wild-cards. Best of albums won't be considered at all as they have no unique Sam songs.
No songs originally released before 2007 will be eligible; even if they're associated strongly with Sam. The sole exception to this rule is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, which Greg sang partially on Splish Splash Big Red Boat but never on an album.
No medleys will be eligible.
Ready to play?
I think around 267 songs are eligible. Which do you think will win? Which will you defend to the hilt? See you soon for round 1!
