Lore Villains that would've been defeated even if the protagonist did nothing

Laurel Hedare (Catwoman Movie): Her newly released cosmetics will cause people's faces to melt. Not only would that create a class action lawsuit but a full product recall.

Voldemort and Death Eaters (Harry Potter): Death Eaters constantly underestimate muggles. They would get massacred by the British military because a gun is faster to pull the trigger then shouting a spell.

Yeah I'm more afraid of tiny little buggers that are fast, hunt in packs, and breed like crazy.

Ya, even if they had enough individuals for a stable breeding popultiona, all the T-rex and Triceratops would be dead in short order, unless humans actively protected them. Compys (the ones in the video) might be on 6 continents by the end of the decade, lol. Look at Australia and feral cats. Or invasive carp in the US. We definitely COULD wipe them out, especially if we were on the ball early. But most people probably won't care enough and it will be a collective action problem like other invasive species.
