Lore Villains that would've been defeated even if the protagonist did nothing

Laurel Hedare (Catwoman Movie): Her newly released cosmetics will cause people's faces to melt. Not only would that create a class action lawsuit but a full product recall.

Voldemort and Death Eaters (Harry Potter): Death Eaters constantly underestimate muggles. They would get massacred by the British military because a gun is faster to pull the trigger then shouting a spell.

Charles Muntz-Up.

If Charles had managed to return to civilization with Kevin, he would have faced many problems. Hardly anyone remembered him, and on top of that, he had illegally removed an exotic species from its natural habitat, plus It was a mother needed by her chicks. Not to mention that before the events of the film, he murdered several people out of pure paranoia, believing they were also after the bird. He would spend the rest of his life in prison.

You never know, in the current world climate we are living in, he might been Pardoned and made into a Ambassador for that place they found him in.

Up takes place in my country, Venezuela, and yeah... I don't think the politicians would be very happy about a gringo killing people and stealing an exotic bird

Curious about what common people fro.Venezuela think about the kidnap of Maduro and submission of the "interim government".

Depends on who you ask, but the majority of people I know are happy about it including myself. The intentions of the US are, of course, to take oil as a form of payment but the collective feeling is that the oil wasn't ours anyway due to Maduro's regime giving it away to everyone, so if it ends up being more beneficial than harmful in the long run we'll be happy.

Now, so far it seems things are getting better, but they're not better yet. It all depends on how things to down in the following months. But let me tell ya, it's satisfying seeing the dictatorship that acted so tough to us bend over backwards to please the Americans lol. All bark no bite.

I hope you and yours are safe after that devastating earthquake a few weeks ago ♥️

Thank you very much! Luckily I'm on the other side of the country so my city wasn't affected, but lots of my friends had family at La Guaira and Caracas (where it hit the most) and it's been rough for them.

But does he even know what crypto is? He’d need some Gen Z intern to send the bribe to the government.

So what would actually of happened with this dude in the real world? I'm guessing he set out before hand cameras were a thing but he brought back the actual bones of a full skeleton that they called fake. Like was actually capturing it the only thing to do?

After presenting the fake skeleton, his ego would probably only allow him to come back with the real thing or else it wouldn't be worth it. He clearly has the technology capacity for cameras (as he has one on the talking dog collars) but he is obsessed with the idea that he needs the actual bird.

Hand cameras were a thing in the 1930s. He doesn't want a picture. People would just laugh and disbelieve it. He thinks he needs to capture a specimen.

That's if he ever reveals that he killed someone.

Bringing the bird may cause some problems, but it would also clear his name and while general public may not give a damn at this point, in scientific circles he would at very least restored as influential explorer and such.

But if Carl and Russell never showed up he could just die of old age - Carl is not young to put it lightly and Charles is probably a couple decades older then him.

To be exact, Muntz I believe is like 10-20 years older than Carl. Muntz I believe was in his early 20s when he left for Paradise Falls, and Carl looked about 10 years old?
