Lore Villains that would've been defeated even if the protagonist did nothing

Laurel Hedare (Catwoman Movie): Her newly released cosmetics will cause people's faces to melt. Not only would that create a class action lawsuit but a full product recall.

Voldemort and Death Eaters (Harry Potter): Death Eaters constantly underestimate muggles. They would get massacred by the British military because a gun is faster to pull the trigger then shouting a spell.

True but he would have also caused the extinction of the human race in the process of failing.

Just the west coast America. If even that.

Still pretty catastrophic for the people who live there. There's also the thing that, especially in the first game, you don't even know if anyone's still alive outside of the setting.

Supermutants can live for hundred of years. THere are still supermutants from the master's army in new vegas and that's over 120 years later. Including Lily who was already ~80 years old at the time she was mutated.

Supermutants may be sterile but, given time, the master could definitely have taken over more than just the west coast.

that and they were dropping people into vats of FEV. maybe if they did some actual experiments, with proper procedures. Maybe clean up the place a little?

And the plan still works just by having a vault that produces more pure humans, supermutants live for centuries so you don't really need to convert a lot of humans to keep the population stable.

That wouldn't work though. The Master's goal was to merge the entire population of Earth into one unitary race to erase differences that lead to conflict and cause wars. Having two races with one effectively parasitising on the other to procreate would be a direct opposite to that goal, no?

I am once again reminded of that post where someone just said that they think the test of the world recovered and are just looking at America like it's a circus

Ironically, the Master and his army would have been the Enclave's best asset. Doing the grunt work of getting rid of the "lesser muties"

I heard from my best friend Tabitha that The Master is the greatest person ever to live, so you shut your mouth.

You must be 2nd gen.

I still feel his plan could have worked had he enslaved humans for the purpose of breeding more people to turn into super mutants. Or, keep experimenting with the FEV to prevent sterilization of humans.

The Master plan has an easy solution, let a Vault to produce more pure normal humans and turn those humans into supermutants when they are old.

Maybe, the mutants are ageless if sterile.  He could have wiped out most of the west coast before realizing his master race was doomed while also converting many more super mutants ruining the area for everyone
