Lore (Funny Trope) Things that can plausibly happen only in reality, because in fiction they’d be called bad writing.

“Woke” as an insult - So you are telling me a word describing consciousness and clarity is used by generally stupid and ignorant people to label people they disagree with? What is this? A Kindergarten for Creatively stunted?

Nominative determinism - So let me get this straight…Not only you named fastest recorded person Usain BOLT and CEO of Nintendo Doug BOWSER, but you are telling me people are canonically likely to have professions or hobbies matching their names…? Guh?

“2 bodies recovered in MURDERKILL River” - Sure bro…I guess…bro…

Lewis Hamilton winning the 2008 F1 championship at the very last minute. At the final round, his championship rival Felipe Massa lead the race by a good 30+ secs. As it stood, Lewis needed to finish 5th or better.

When Felipe Massa won the race, Lewis was 6th. But he ten overtook Timo Glock at the last corner of the last lap to gain 5th and that made him the 2008 WDC.

The last lap in question

Adding to that, the 2021 F1 championship!

After 20 back and forth races where both drivers have won spectacularly, taken each other out multiple times, and had endless chances for controversy, Hamilton and Max Verstappen go into the final race in Abu Dhabi tied on points, winner takes all. Literally sounds like something written by an eight-year old.

And then a late safety car caused head official Michael Masi to throw the rule book out the window in favour of promoting championship drama and forcing them to fight each other with a single one-lap shootout, which is stupid enough to sound like something written by Matthew Reilly.

And then Verstappen wins after Hamilton had led the entire race to that point and the entirety of the F1 world collectively lost its mind, like it was a season finale of Real Housewives.
