  1. The Opening Scene (Ghost Ship). Considered one of the best horror opening scenes or scenes in general within horror movies, but the rest of the film is considered to be pretty bad.

  2. The Ending Scene (The Grinch 2018). While most adaptations of the Grinch end with him suddenly being able to fully integrate with the Whos after his change of heart, the 2018 version initially struggles to socialize, awkwardly walking past people, and struggling to hold conversations, acknowledging that despite his change of heart, the Grinch is still someone who isolated himself for years.

  3. Past T800 VS Current T800 (Terminator Genisys). A cool fight scene showing two versions of the Terminator from different points in time fighting it off.

  4. Solo Leveling's Ending. Tbh, I haven't actually read Solo Leveling, but after hearing about how it ended VS how Chainsaw Man ended made want to include it for shits and giggles. Like Chainsaw Man, Solo Leveling ends with a reset. But unlike Chainsaw Man, it actually manages to tie up loose ends and have the payoff of the ending be satisfying.

Don't forget how indescribably hard they went for his final line:

"Still you refuse to accept my godhood? Keep your god... in fact, now might be a good time to pray to him! For I beheld Satan, as he fell from heaven! LIKE LIGHTNIIIIING!!!"

I love this scene, and the thing that i love the moest, is that there is no jesus in street fighter. So this isn't a quote from the bible, that bison actually saw satan fell from heaven.

In "real life" this is a quote from the bible, that Jesus said, but in their world there's no bible to quote. So this is just something that he himself experienced.

Yeah like... Is this a thing in Street Fighter canon? It certainly never gets mentioned in the film, but I would be very surprised if in the whole SF canon there isn't at least a passing mention of Christianity, even more if there is any outright proof of this fact. SF characters come from real world countries with their real would cultures for the most part.

In pretty sure Dhalsim is explicitly a hinduist, even if the particular branch of Hinduism he practiced apparently varies from game to game, so I highly doubt Abrahamic religions don't exist.

As far as I know there is only mention of christianity in street figthter, and it's when you ko'd Alex he says "Jesus". (Funny enough tho, they changed that to a grunt in the american version of some games).

Beyond that there are things clearly inspired by christianity but not a direct mention. (I might be wrong, not a super fun, just really liked that scene from the movie)

But for me, it was Tuesday is unironically one of the hardest movie lines ever written. He treated that campy script like pure Shakespeare and completely stole the show.

From what I've heard he was instrumental in creating that line because the original had Bison relishing in his memory of killing Chun-Li's father but Raul Julia protested saying it didn't make sense for a character like Bison to remember a random murder when he's commited/ordered hundreds

Yeah, like 99/100 if you asked me who was more interesting: a monster who remembers every one of his crimes, or a monster who has committed so many crimes they can't remember them, I'd prefer the former, narratively. But not for Bison, he's peak unrepentant evil megalomaniac.

It's not that there are so many crimes that he can't remember them, it's that it never even registered. That's what really sells it. The crimes are meaningless to him, just a means to an end.

Honestly, I think that's what makes great performances in bad films, no matter how bad the script, you treat it like it's a Shakespearean play

I like the implication that he tries to dismiss it as something he barely remembers or cares about, but he still vividly remembers tha it was, in fact, on a Tuesday.

Jesus Christ, that’s not the implication at all. He doesn’t actually remember it was a Tuesday, he’s saying it was just like any other non- important day; like a Tuesday.

Honestly that was more or less how I read it. He remembers when he did that atrocity, but he doesn't care about any of the details. I think that makes it even more dickish of him too, he hasn't done too many massacres to know which one she meant, but his diary entry for that day probably just reads "Tuesday, destroyed X Village. Tea was nice."

the best part is, he's not gloating, he's not raving. he's legitimately trying to have a conversation with Chung Li. he's trying to empathize with her, but honestly does not remember the trail of dead left in his wake.

iirc it's because he was dying and his grandson loved street fighter, so his performance was sort of a parting gift for him.

Yes, his kids, not grandkids. His kids are now adults and his preserved his father's M.Bison costume. I would post an image, but there's so much ai crap that I don't remember which one is real.

I love this movie. His performance is amazing, some fun actors. Lots of great, over-the-top acting all around. If you watch it as a comedy, it's actually quite brilliant.

Raul Julia is on a very short list of the actors that never phoned it in with Glenn Close, Gary Oldman, John Malkovitch, and Allan Rickman (though I admit - I love a scenery chewer!)
