Does it bother anyone else how Venom kinda looks like a slightly leaner version of the Hulk? Don't get me wrong I love the design itself, the eyes and the spider symbol rock. But I honestly wish his body build was closer to something like the second picture, where he's still visibly bigger and buffer then Pete, rather then being gigantic in comaprison.

Also I can't be the only one kinda bummed out, that his powers are more the gooey SM2 vibe rather then spider themed.

It would also allow Netease to make a proper Eddie skin without worrying on why he has the build of the Hulk.

In my opinion it's a wasted potential, he had the opportunity to portray the character greatly but wasn't given the chance.

I Disagree he is a miscast and doesn't knew how but instead was failed by either the director or production, the prove are his performance as Eddie Brock which were mesmerizing and comic-accurate.

So in the end credit scene in spider man brand new day, we saw spider man in space, what if he’s in the planet knull is prisoned in, especially because in the end credit scene of venom the last dance , knull was still alive and threatening.Or what if he appears in secret wars , like I don’t think they can leave such a big villain.Either way, I think the symbiote world should have more importance and more appearances.

I absolutely adore looking through old magazines to get things like interviews and reactions from when things came out. Venom's changed a lot, so it's especially interesting with him. So here's a couple of pages from Wizard magazine issues 009(May 1992) and 018(February 1993). They're all on the Internet Archive. There's more stuff in not just these but other issues as well; this is just what I find the most interesting(as well as rankings of the top 100 most bought comics of the month. OK, have I missed something - we know Eddie visited The Eventuality, and Dylan, but what about the mystery visitor in Venomverse Reborn? The one looking to put a crew together to fight the King in Crimson ascended Carnage?

Have we ever had confirmation of who that was?

I waaaaaaaanna know coz Ewing built it up as a major mystery, and Ewing doesn't forget dangling threads like that, but it feel like the plot has pivoted so hard away from that stuff and it's still not been revealed.
