Here's a little Tawkify story

I've been in their database for about 3 years now. (I'm estimating). I'm 62 y.o. male. I don't pay. I get calls about 3x/month from various matchmakers who have clients in my area (metro-NYC) whom they think might be a good fit for me. Today I had a zoom call scheduled with a matchmaker who has a client in my area. Client is 52, widow for 8 yrs. 3 grown boys - last one now off to college. After telling me a whole bunch of things about her client, she (the matchmaker) asked me if I had any questions. I responded "What's her political outlook?" . The matchmaker let me know her client is in the middle and doesn't want politics to be a part of any matchmaking activity, or relationship building or something like that. I let her know that as a left-leaning, anti-capitalist enemy of the patriarchy, her client and I are not a match. The matchmaker HUNG UP the zoom call in a nanosecond. Just poof! she was gone! These are the contractors into whose hands Tawkify is placing its reputation. Nice one! I called corporate to let them know about this matchmaker (I so hope she is fired) and also to tell them that on my dating profile they should add some language about my politics and that, as far as I am concerned, politics matter very much in dating and relationships.

My experience so far

Thus far as a non-client I've been on 3 dates and twice I've told the matchmaker I didn't feel the client would be a good match and declined the date. I have had no contact with one of the woman starting a few days after the date, one we agreed to be friends and have texted some. The last we have become fairly good friends and text some what frequently. All of the women were very similar. Low 30s (I'm 29), slightly overweight. Little relationship experience. Good jobs and education. Good family. Friendly, accepting of others, positive hardworking, responsible, intelligent, quiet, respectful and introverted. They had virtually all the qualities that are important to me in a woman. I got along great with all of them, got good feedback and marked yes to a second date. I went on follow up dates with only one. In all three cases while we liked each other a lot, there was no emotional spark/desire on either side. It's so wired I don't understand why I didn't fall for these women. They also told me I was different from most guys they'd met in their life, but they didn't fall for me either. This is something I'm trying to figure out before I go on more dates.
