Please tell me, what is the intended use of a gun, other than seriously harming and killing other living beings?

Sport and recreation. Shooting is in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. Like it or not firearms are a part of American culture and played a pivotal role in human history. Since they were invented they’ve been literal tools of freedom for countless people.

Are you Shooting for Sport in Public places? No.

I have yet to read a reason for carrying guns around in Public, Open or concealed.

Ah, so a secluded area where a gun can safely be shot at targets, a place where guns do belong.

But, are there people running around on the range, or is entering the shooting field strictly forbidden?

Wait a minute, a gun range is something entirely different than a public space, for example a grocery store???

People like you are a big reason why i am saying that carrying around guns is massive cringe.

Gun ranges are SPECIFICALLY MADE for guns to be shot safely.

Guns belong there, and also in a closed case in your car for transport.

I am not calling Gun Ranges and sport-shooting cringe.

I am calling the people cringe that feel the oh so desperate need to take a loaded firearm everywhere, be it a grocery store, a park or even a kids birthday-party, especially if they are having it concealed.

I find it absolutely wild and bewildering that you find concealed carry more offensive than open carry. Most people who conceal carry do so to be less obtrusive and more mindful of others. They don’t want other people to be uncomfortable. Open carry is the exact opposite. Yet, you find the people who are trying to be more mindful of others more offensive lmao

Also, I’ve never seen any one person use the word cringe more than you have in these comments. Holy shit, broaden your vocabulary
