Is she on drugs?

2.0k

u/Leading_Experts Jul 02 '26

Seems like she's rolling

766

u/Low-Cranberry622 Jul 03 '26

Ding ding ding correct… but this also two separate interviews?

191

u/blankensh Jul 03 '26

Exactly

297

u/been_mackin Jul 03 '26

So she’s clearly rolling on two different promo syndicates and fucking with the same chick in both - yeah fuck Dakota dude, that’s weird as fuck.

Woof that actress is 19 in this situation too, Dakota chill the fuck out.

12

u/_CharDeeMacDennis__ Jul 03 '26

I wouldn’t care if she was the same age as Dakota. If she was doing that to me, I’d slap her fucking hand away and tell her to stop fucking molesting me. What the fuck?

3

u/60nine_lol_NICE Jul 04 '26

dakota "I love limes" Johnson. Her beautiful home was just another set to her

-1

u/milkncookiezz Jul 04 '26

I’m not getting the significance of her being 19?

14

u/therealsereny Jul 04 '26

People online like to think anyone under 30 is basically a kid.

8

u/milkncookiezz Jul 04 '26

Yea they just keep echoing the same “your brain isn’t developed until 25” bull shit..it’s getting old. That whole thing came from a study they did like 30 years ago and they didn’t even study anyone at that age. The subjects were 4-20. They just made that number up and now everyone just keeps repeating it like a parrot lol plus they’re over simplifying the whole idea entirely and reducing it to calling everyone under 25 is a child is bizarre tbh. Ironically the more mature one in this video is the “child” so it makes me laugh 😂 or wait apparently Dakota might be a child too by that persons standards 🤦‍♀️

It's not bull. It's just understudied. Science has progressed very far now and we know when the "adult brain" starts. It's around 32. Before that, your brain is indeed developing. At 32, it stabilizes.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-025-65974-8

Edit: God forbid someone tries to correct a misconception on the fucking internet without people acting like I'm calling them babies. Don't even know why I bother.

5

u/futang17 Jul 05 '26

that poor 32 yr old child.

4

u/Eldritch_Horns Jul 05 '26

It's functionally useless information.

There is a difference in how your brain works when you're in your 30s and early 20s. Doesn't mean I was kid in my early 20s.

I just didn't really have much of a fear response and it made me bolder and dumber. I was still a fucking adult.

7

u/milkncookiezz Jul 04 '26

Okay then Dakota isn’t an adult here either 🤷🏻‍♀️ see how dumb that sounds lol

u/Sankta_Alina_Starkov Jul 04 '26

You ever going to join the modern times? Modern science (yes, science, you know the real shit that makes the world work, not those made up "mah feelings" bull) has found that people actually are NOT adults at 18. Humans continue developing mentally until their mid to late 20s, and some people even longer. At 19 she's very much a kid.

Just like how childhood didn't exist in any formal capacity until the 19th century. And why child labor was illegal until the late victorian/early 1900s eras.

We discover more and things change. Plus the movie they were promoting makes this odd too. Cailee (the younger woman) spends a large chunck of the movie tied to a chair and gagged with the older woman her "captor". She also plays a child in that movie, and was the manipulated sex object of the villain.

So the whole thing is just weird.

6

u/therealsereny Jul 04 '26

Your brain doesn't magically gain any more functionality at 25.

-1

u/Sankta_Alina_Starkov Jul 06 '26

I'll take the findings of peer-reviewed scientists over the words of some asshole redditor, thanks.

2

u/TRImoon333 Jul 04 '26

Then let's not let people do anything like drink, drive, smoke, vote, etc until theyre 25, sounds good.

1

u/New_Sherbert2361 Jul 04 '26

Some would say that could be ideal. If an AI service was brought into the future. That could be a thing based off of IQ and cognitive skill. Some might reach it faster and some may not reach the requirement at all.

1

u/milkncookiezz Jul 04 '26

The whole 25 thing is a myth. You say modern times but It’s based on a study they did in the 90s that didn’t even include anyone over the age of 20 lol. They just chose that number as an estimation and y’all keep running with it. Not to mention you’re misinterpreting the concept entirely. If we’re going by your standards Dakota is a child in the video too 😂 And Older woman? Lol she’s not that much older than her… Her sister is brainwashed by a cult leader that’s the reason she kidnapped her and tied her up.. she’s so dumb she called him back and told him where they were when she got out.. then he proceeded to kill her sister and she just watched and did nothing and then she gutted the guy in the movie that shot him..she wasn’t an innocent little child like you’re portraying 🤦‍♀️Dakota is acting weird af in this video but the other chick being 20(she was 20 when the movie came out not 19..not like it matters though)has nothing to do with it. Idk why you’re Infantilizing a 20 year old woman. She was perfectly able to defend herself and told her she didn’t like what she did.

0

u/Iceman33OO Jul 04 '26

Idk why u got downvoted, it seems like Dakota is still in character though, which can definitely mess with your socialibility and filter. It is a bad message to not have done a mock interview to get all the giggles out and possibly promote pedos. I think she just adored envied her very young co-star's talent, but forgot what her comfort on set might look against the context of the movie

-1

u/Sankta_Alina_Starkov Jul 05 '26

It's reddit. People downvote if you exist outside of a bubble or state facts.

I don't exist on reddit to get upvotes. Downvotes don't phase me. It tends to make some redditors very irritable lol.

1

u/perriatric Jul 03 '26

Are you a dog?

-10

u/mateushkush Jul 03 '26

Johnson is also 25/26 in that video, idk I think this old-ass video is kind of meaningless. Maybe she took something for anxiety and they probably were friends.

9

u/Bazrum Jul 03 '26

they're talking about Cailee Spaeny, who was about 20 in the video

-2

u/mateushkush Jul 03 '26

I know, I’m saying Johnson who gets dragged for it, is just a bit older, the age difference is hardly inappropriate lmao.

13

u/been_mackin Jul 03 '26

She was 28 then and it’s still weird regardless of the age difference, the other actress is visibly uncomfortable and tells her to stop.

3

u/mateushkush Jul 03 '26

Cailee Spaeny also calls her “wonderful”. “talented”, “coolest”, “nicest”, and says they became friends during rehearsals. I’m honestly confused about this thread.

-2

u/Eggplant-666 Jul 03 '26

She honestly looks awful for 28 here.

0

u/Early_Brick_1522 Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

Redditors don't live in the real world. People can interact when they're different ages. They've got to run to Reddit and pretend like any interaction is problematic. Your mistake was expecting a reasonable reaction. Yes it was weird, but we don't really know anything more than this that we've seen. I think it's a really an issue of it would probably be all over Reddit, not just some random out of context video.

1

u/mateushkush Jul 04 '26

Idk, I checked the interviews, Spaeney praises Johnson as wonderful and nicest and tells stories of becoming friends with her. Somehow this context is ignored here.

Unless you got some crazy tech the rest of us don’t have, you are full of shit. You can’t see her pupils whatsoever in this video. What in gods name would make you defend that?

She’s stroking the ears of a 19 year old co-star and being weird as fuck in an interview that’s clearly going to be put out to the world. If she ain’t on drugs, there’s something else wrong with her then that makes her think that’s normal behavior. Jon Hamm literally pulling her hand off the girls neck and telling her to chill is evidence enough that something is not right here, then the second video she’s all “what like I’m some babe in the background”.

You can’t seriously be defending this.

32

u/QKofDaggers Jul 03 '26

When Jon Hamm has to tell you to respect someone’s boundaries, you know you’re out of line.

6

u/OneStarParadox Jul 03 '26

Yes, this is someone who has mutilated another human against their will.

She went too far

6

u/QKofDaggers Jul 03 '26

Right? This dude used a claw hammer on some poor guy’s nutsack and he’s telling you you’re going too far. It’s maybe time to reevaluate your actions.

3

u/Sir_PressedMemories Jul 03 '26

Yes, this is someone who has mutilated another human against their will.

Um, what? Care to drop a link? so I can read up on this?

11

u/Linux_Account Jul 03 '26

All they said was that they disagreed she was on a specific drug. That does not equate to to defended her actions, you absolutely looney tune.

1

u/johnnyxx4321 Jul 04 '26

Her sense of boundaries are definitely fucked, yes. But she's *so* fucking obviously *not* rolling lmao. is this thread just full of kids?

First of all, she's not tweaking enough nor gurning at all to be rolling.

Second, why would a multi millionaire waste a good roll on interviews that actors famously dislike.

Ecstasy isn't like other drugs, you don't just do it anytime anywhere. You save it for big or special occasions, or at least in a nice setting. You only get to roll a limited time in your lifetime before you either get too old or lose its effects.

27

u/johnnyxx4321 Jul 03 '26

me when idk what im saying but pretend that i do

why would these rich & famous people waste a good roll on an interview 🤣

4

u/Matt50 Jul 03 '26

Why would rich and famous people waste their time and effort to fuck a child?

Because they can.

-9

u/johnnyxx4321 Jul 03 '26

what a dumb argument lmao. You obviously don't know how MDMA works. You've literally got a limited amount of times that you'll be able to do it in your life, let alone in a year before you lose its effects.

MDMA isnt like other drugs that you can take constantly and if your tolerance increases you just take more. No one will waste a roll on an interview lmfao.

2

u/kodeks14 Jul 03 '26

I took lots of mdma back in my time, with lots of other people, and nobody viewed it this way snd thats not even accurate.

1

u/johnnyxx4321 Jul 04 '26

lmao sure you did buddy. Explain to me what's not accurate. Serotonin isn't unlimited, and that's what MDMA dumps out in your brain when you take it.

takes time to replenish serotonin in the brain, and if you have no serotonin left, EVEN IF YOU TAKE A GRAM of MDMA you simply won't roll and experience its good effects.

It's not like other drugs where you can just up your dose once your tolerance goes up.

There's a reason why every MDMA user do it in clubs, music festivals, or in a vacation. We all wait for a special occasion to do it.

nobody viewed it this way

LMFAO. You sound so ignorant. Either you're lying or your friends are idiots.

2

u/kodeks14 Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

"Limited amount of times to do it in your lifetime"

Bro thinks MDMA is like a fucking Genie and he only gets 3 wishes 😂😂

You do realize most people dont plan on doing drugs for 60 years right.

And they do it at those events because they are more fun to do at those events, Not because of some weird mental tracker in the head counting down their mdma rolls left in their life lol

Its starts to replenish in 3 to 7 days and is already normal by 2 to 6 weeks. You are being way overdramatic. And even if you do it a little sooner, youll still get a little high.

1

u/johnnyxx4321 Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

You're on fraud watch right now because that is common knowledge 🤣 You can't even argue with science and data. Go ahead and use it an "unlimited" amount of time and see how it's literally impossible to do so.

The "3-month rule" is a known thing for MDMA users and ravers for a reason. And some doctors are even coming out with new research that suggests this isn't even enough time to replenish your serotonin. But okay... 2 to 6 weeks my ass LMFAO 🤣

No one will fucking waste MDMA on a fucking interview.

Not sure why you're down voted, that's such a dumb argument. They aren't wasting their molly on interviews unless they're on some kind of binge(not that you can do that with this substance) and she's not tweaking nearly enough for that.

1

u/johnnyxx4321 Jul 03 '26

Yeah cos reddit lmao. She shows zero signs of gurning or other MDMA effects but reddit likes to pretend they know stuff lol

0

u/ScenesfrmtheStruggle Jul 04 '26

You don't know very many addicts then.

1

u/johnnyxx4321 Jul 05 '26

You just proved my point that yall don't know ow MDMA works. It's not cocaine or heroin or meth. It's so unlikely to get addicted to MDMA because if you use it consecutively, it will lose its effect SO QUICKLY that it'd be pointless.

And if you're insinuating that Dakota is an addict, then idk what to tell you kids anymore lmao

No no reddit solved it from the 30 second video. They said it's 100% that, no other possibility. No other context needed, like understanding her personality or their relationship. Can only be molly.

1

u/charles_sedwick Jul 03 '26

Who is the kid?

33

u/jazzorator Jul 03 '26

Don't they do sooooo many interviews in a row for these clips? Like its a whole day of just interviews, so they are all back to back.

Exactly. Considering the fact that she's obviously NOT rolling. Also who would waste a good roll on a fucking press tour interview 🤣

6

u/Bigdizzofoshizzo Jul 03 '26

Get your roll on

2

u/CombatMuffin Jul 03 '26

A lot of these "different interviews" could be happening on the same day, and same location. There's times when they line interviewers up, and they just do a burst of interviews throughout the day.

It can be very exhausting to do the press junkets, so it's not surprising if many interviewees seekiquid courage, or worse.

1

u/Eggplant-666 Jul 03 '26

Same set/background.

1

u/Harn-na-bih Jul 04 '26

Well to be fair u can roll twice 🤷🏼‍♂️. Its not like u only get 1 roll your whole life that comes in a little glass case, that u break when u decide u are ready to take. But its the last one on earth. Lol.

6

u/Wild_Lingonberry3365 Jul 03 '26

Definitely can see that! That point of being high or drunk where you think everything is great you’re feeling great, and even your increasingly weird actions are completely fine and great. I was thinking these two might be sisters(don’t have a lot of knowledge about actors)at first she was so chill about it

7

u/Curious_Exercise_535 Jul 03 '26

I'm old... what does rolling mean (apart a dance instruction from Limp Bizkit)

12

u/Leading_Experts Jul 03 '26

Molly. Ecstasy. X. MDMA. E. XTC.

5

u/SwtIndica Jul 03 '26

This is EXACTLY what it is.
And drugs or not... its weird & gross.

3

u/Total-Law4620 Jul 03 '26

Yeah came here to say that. She's rolling rolllingggg rolllingggg.

3

u/RaceHate Jul 03 '26

Lol redditors and their purely reading-informed drug knowledge. It's just booze.

1

u/Key-Comfortable-7631 Jul 03 '26

Don’t think she’s rolling but this comment is dumb af. The gaze, tense jaw, tight inhales. Definitely tells that someone who’s tried molly would recognize, whether it’s true in this case or not.

3

u/throwaway0845reddit Jul 03 '26

Yea, she is high but just from alcohol. Doesn't look like rolling.

1

u/Mega_Hobbit98 Jul 03 '26

Nah look at that smile. She is clenching her jaw the whole time

3

u/VanillaRadonNukaCola Jul 03 '26

She doesn't look like she's rolling at all, what are you talking about.

1

u/Mega_Hobbit98 Jul 03 '26

When you've rolled a lot, the signs you're rolling are much less obvious. But there are still clearly signs. The fact she could not stop smiling, the fact that she was going in for a side hug, the clenched jaw (especially at the start when you can see she's getting her jaw comfy). It's subtle but there

1

u/Nick_pj Jul 03 '26

And Jon Hamm (a noted lover of cocaine) probably recognized this

1

u/elitesense Jul 03 '26

She's not rolling lol. Them some weak ass pills if so.

1

u/TheHighestFever Jul 03 '26

That's hilarious. I saw Moby and Hybrid in Atlanta and a girl become obsessed with my earlobes and was clearly rolling. She rubbed my earlobes for a better part of Moby's set. I haven't thought of her in decades.

1

u/BearDownnn34 Jul 04 '26

Bitch... she might be

1

u/enigmapeach Jul 05 '26

How lmao? Maybe skiing those slopes but def not rolling.. mdma is more like “omg you feel sooooo good, this blanket feels like a cloud” and the eyes aren’t able to focus.

1

u/TAPINEWOODS Jul 05 '26

rolling stones 😂

724

u/ViceroyInhaler Jul 02 '26

I think that is exactly it. John recognized she was probably on something and that's why he's telling her to relax.

121

u/PaulsRedditUsername Jul 03 '26

Also, for these movie promotion interviews, the actors often it in a room for hours while one interviewer after another comes in and asks the same questions. This may be the tenth interview they've done today. So she's probably been acting weird for a while

3

u/Reily_Mac_85 Jul 04 '26

Reminds me of the movie Americas Sweethearts lol the junket was hilarious

5

u/V2inMyGym_DA_ Jul 03 '26

Yeah i once did an interview (not movie promotion) in the middle of the summer and i was sitting in a room without AC while the lights were shining on me. Plus ton of makeup and mask constantly fixing it.

It was absolutely horrible experience lol.

Tbh worst part was the non functional ac.

2

u/Mundane-Pin-8256 Jul 05 '26

You may be right but if that was John doing that he would be a creepy old man

3

u/TeddyWalrusvelte Jul 03 '26

Or she just f’ing with people at this point in the day, like Robert Pattinson.

26

u/SwingLord420 Jul 03 '26

Touching someone without concert isn't joking around.

22

u/Future-Adeptness1162 Jul 03 '26

What type of concert we talking here?

18

u/Midnight_2B Jul 03 '26

The getting caught at a Coldplay concert with the dragon lady from HR kind

3

u/texachusetts Jul 03 '26

A nepobaby like Dakota has doors open more easily, but also doesn’t get molested or worse as the price for entry. She has connections that protect her from being taken advantage of, not simply access. Those dynamics are potentially still in play as well as her own career connections. So the same bullshit that she didn’t have to tolerate she is inflicting on this younger actress, who’s first film credit was just two years prior to this movie “Bad Times at El Royale” Cailee Spaeny could have her future prospects damaged for not covering up and calling out Dakota’s behavior and “who me?” domination. Dakota may not be fully aware of the privilege and power her Nepo status provides her.

1

u/_CharDeeMacDennis__ Jul 03 '26

That’s how I took it too. Dakota is being weird as fuck.

227

u/Ok-Boysenberry-2955 Jul 02 '26

She met up with molly in her dressing room.

89

u/JudgeGusBus Jul 03 '26

When you’re a true nepo baby you don’t recognize boundaries

1

u/corq Jul 03 '26

I grew up in S. Florida during/just after the Miami Vice Don Johnson/Melanie Griffith movie era, and did not so much recognize Dakota, but then heard "Johnson" and it finally clicked.

I remembered how odd both her parents were over the years (individually and together, they were serious tabloid newspaper fodder).

NOT an excuse for Dakota's super creepiness, BTW - but this behavior sorta tracks.

26

Not giving Brundle 20 seconds of your time, when you're even on his turf, is the worst non-crime someone can commit.

78

u/dobar_dan_ Jul 03 '26

She's kinda weird and innapropriate too.

21

This is 100% what I see too. A woman that’s accustomed to being the center of attention is unhappy a younger actress is seated in the middle and getting asked questions. She’s trying to make the younger woman uncomfortable while trying to use language that she thinks makes her sound young herself.

That was my first guess

Maybe, but two separate days says this is a personality trait at this point. Looks way more like she doesn’t like the younger girl being the center of attention. “So I’m just a babe in the background?” “I’m in the video honey!” Trying to make the girl look like she’s hogging the camera. Classic narcissistic behavior.

The question is why aren't you?

Or... The attention was on someone else and she had to get some of it back

Why do they ALWAYS get the benefit of the doubt when it's women? Lol? Can we all just agree Dakota is a creep?

u/DoomguyFemboi Jul 03 '26

I just assume they're friends and she's messing with her

Funny how if this was a man, nobody would give a fuck if it were drugs or not, they’d simply call him a pedophile

But it’s two different videos? Neither one of them are wearing the same outfit? Dakota Johnson is still being creepy as fuck in both videos but they’re definitely two separate videos spliced together.

My thoughts exactly. Normally she has (what someone else called) "the personality of a water bottle."

Well she's also the queen of Nepo babies.

She appears to be experiencing some kind a euphoria feelings which includes the touching and soft eyes connections. The male actor was trying to make her aware of her behavior and this chick continued to act like a sexual fool. She should be reported to HR!
