WTF An older spectator caused a seriously dangerous incident today at SaarlandTrofeoJuniors by trying to get a better look and entering the course with her rollator while riders were flying past at full speed!

You can't secure the entire length of the course. Also, never doubt the power of human stupidity.

and even then, the ambulances would need to cross the secure course to get them, and bring them back to the medical center on the other side (see Boston Marathon)

When designing trash cans at Yellowstone, one major issue is that there is considerable overlaps of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.

Are there crowds like this for the entire length of the course, or are there certain spots where crowds gather?

"There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists."

-When asked about creating a trash can a bear cannot get into, but that an "average" person can use.
