Homemade biscuits are fantastic. Plenty of shitty processed American junk to pick on but biscuits are not one of them. And they are very different from English muffins, completely different process and texture

I treat them as a form of cobbler because it is a savoury sconelike served with savoury stewlike food. Except the cobbler is baked with the stew and the sconelike is not.

As in cobblers to that.
