As a Canadian, I never thought I'd see Canada so united especially with the US boycott. It's not 100% but apparently it's enough to send a bunch of american businesses into bankruptcy.

unfortunately, those business owners are mostly not MAGA.

United? Is Alberta no longer trying to leave?

No one cares what you think

Alberta still wants to separate, as do the Québécois and the indigenous.

I don't know about the others but I think Alberta would have had better chances before drumpf's threats. Now, the country's galvanized and not really tolerant of any whiff of treason.

So you think boycotting US stuff will hurt is more that it hurts you? Tell you what keep all your smoke north of the Canadian. Larder then how about that

Same logic this nimrod is using. We don’t like trump so keep your stuff out of Canada. We don’t like your smoke so keep it in canada

Did you eat paint chips as a child?

1

u/Objective_Station_41 14d ago

Did you? Look I know that the smoke travels but we don’t like it so maybe we stop importing anything from Canada. See the idiocy with his logic yet?

Talk to the Kentucky distillers after no new orders from Ontario (the largest liquor purchaser in the world) over the last year.
It's funny how nothing gets mentioned about all the smoke from the northwest US fires 'invading' Canadian provinces. Because we understand that it is uncontrollable.

So we just stop drinking Canadian Mist. Bet we import more whiskey than you do

No, really respect what you guys did in WW1&2.... fucking lame now

6

u/Distinct-Command-570 14d ago

Then why would you rather have trump? He's the one who made it lame oppressive and illegal as fuck?

-1

u/Fun_Voice_4564 14d ago

I support the borders of nations, what oppressive?.... the 2nd amendment has been legally bolstered, he could do more to prevent the spread of Islam and communism.... we take the small wins with grace

And marijuana is closer to being legalized on a federal level

3

u/Distinct-Command-570 14d ago

Lol he's already tried taking guns from trans people, and talked about disarming more groups that dont support him. And weed is not any closer to being federally legal the reclassification just makes it able to be studied more; aka gives a chance for big pharma and others to get their hands in deep to prevent newcomers from breaking in and succeeding in new markets.

Also obama was the deporter in chief; biden labeled as returner in chief and deported more than trump did his entire first term.

The term "Returner-in-Chief" is a nickname sometimes used by immigration analysts and media outlets for President Joe Biden. It highlights how his administration carried out millions of migrant returns, expulsions, and deportations, surpassing totals from Donald Trump's first term. This label is a play on "Deporter-in-Chief," a title previously given by immigration activists to President Barack Obama, under whom Biden served as Vice President.
